ATTENTION IS THE RAREST AND PUREST FORM OF GENEROSITY

Hello followers,

Yesterday as I was making up my bed, like I do every morning; I looked up and in the center of our bed on the wall is this painting.

Its one that Dan and I hold dear to, for it is a painting of him and me that our daughter did. She gave it to us on one of our anniversary’s several years ago. The point being, looking at the picture, its Dan standing on the right and I am on the left; which is the same sides we sleep in the bed. Never had any thought of this until yesterday. Also, Dan is right-handed and I’m left. It’s true that everything happens for a reason. With that said, we have been hunkered down now for 54 days and looking forward in the Zoom call for Mother’s Day this Sunday.

I think the topic of Generosity is thrown under the bus and not given to much thought. It is sometimes taken for granted. Generosity, or the quality of being kind and giving, is something every individual should instill in him or herself.

Let Love Open You ❤️😘❤️

Good morning Saturday 🏵️let Compassion move you, let kindness guide you, let love open you, let peace be within you 💝

Generosity cannot be taught. It should come from within. But, don’t confuse charity with generosity. Charity accompanied by the feeling or attitude of not expecting anything in return is generosity. Generous is one who is free from pride, who is humble, generous, down to earth, sensible, realistic, pragmatic, common-sensible and logical.

This week I have been sharing and honoring special people that have inspired me.

I have been Facebook friends and Instagram friends with a Dr. DeSaulniers for several years and have been following her story as well as her work. Dr. Veronique DeSaulniers passion is to inspire, support, and connect women all around the globe and to live their best life through healing of body, mind and soul. First and foremost, she is a woman that was looking for answers, just like me.

She has faced 2 breast cancer journeys. Her initial journey in 2004 - 2006, taught her so much about herself and breast cancer in general. The experience was a stepping stone into creating her first book, Heal Breast Cancer Naturally, Healing Diva Retreats and various coaching programs for women that are looking for support.

Then 10 years later, she faced another lump and another journey. This recurrence was more difficult for her than the first journey. She says it was more difficult because by 2015 she was the “face” of Breast Cancer Conqueror. She states, how could I confidently tell women that they could heal when I was facing breast cancer for a second time?

There was such an internal struggle for several years. She wanted to stand in integrity and be honest about what she was experiencing, but at the same time she wanted to wait for the right timing. The right time would be when she was confident that she had once again healed and reversed breast cancer naturally. It was a driving force that kept her going. She wanted to prove to herself and others, that vibrant health was attainable, even if you are faced with a disease like cancer.

Dr. Veronique’s professional training, helped and please know that she has “done the work” and her due diligence from a professional point of view. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1979 from Life Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic and became certified in many post graduate protocols.

In the last 40+ years, she has attended hundreds of conferences, seminars, undertaking extensive studies in the various fields of “Energy Medicine” such as Bio-Energetics, Meridian Stress Analysis, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Digital Thermography, EFT and Chiropractic.

She is an avid researcher and loves to stay on top of the latest science about breast cancer.

Her approach to healing is a very unique one because she has lived it both professionally and personal.

“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” ― John Holmes

“In the end, though, maybe we must all give up trying to pay back the people in this world who sustain our lives. In the end, maybe it’s wiser to surrender before the miraculous scope of human generosity and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely, for as long as we have voices.” ― Elizabeth Gilbert

“True generosity is an offering; given freely and out of pure love. No strings attached. No expectations. Time and love are the most valuable possession you can share.” ― Suze Orman

“To practice five things under all circumstances constitutes perfect virtue; these five are gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness.” ― Confucius

“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.” ― Simone Weil

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day.

Lyrics: to The Mother's Day Song

Every day you keep me safe and warm and loved and fed

But today's your special day, it was my turn instead

So, I got up at 5 a.m. I've-been working hard since then

Some things I didn't get quite right, next year I'll try again

V2

Just for you I did my best to cut my own hair

Some places came out pretty good. And some are kind of bare

I washed all your nicest clothes, but the washer wasn't free

So, I used the dish washer Pretty smart of me!

CHORUS:

Remember no one's perfect Every kid has faults

Remember it's the thought that counts, more than the results

My heart was in the right place even though I did it wrong

It was all to say on Mother’s Day my love for you is strong

V3

I vacuumed really quietly I didn't use the power

I cleaned your dirty iPad screen, I held it in the shower

I painted all the ceilings it was easy with the mop

Now the carpet's painted too with cool rainbow drops!

V4

I answered all your work emails with "Just leave me alone"

And we gave a prince from Scandinavia a loan

I watered all the house plants with the garden hose

I forgot to turn it off sometimes that's how it goes

CHORUS

V5

Your car's shiny inside and out with lots of olive oil

Who knew that oatmeal splatters up so high and far on boil?

I tried to make you orange juice but I spilled it on the floor

I tried to fry your bacon we don't have a stove no more

V6

Since you can't really cook this week, I called the pizza place

I emptied out the fridge and freezer so there's enough space

They should be here any time, two dozen pizza pies

I paid with your credit card; I hope that you're surprised.

Until tomorrow, remember -"We are born of love; Love is our mother." — Rumi
