BY MEANS OF WATER, WE GIVE LIFE TO EVERYTHING

Good Day Friday,

It’s the beginning of another weekend and its summer like weather, plus it’s been 73 days of our hunkering down. Dan and I have been noticing that there has been a lot of people starting to get out and mingle with others.

On TV, they are announcing some amazement centers are opening back up as well as the beaches. Please be safe and keep your immune system up.

Dan and I are doing something new, just started yesterday - Qigong for Beginners

Feel your QI! This complete YOQI qigong flow routine designed for beginners to purge, tonify, regulate and circulate your qi.

Continuing with the topic of water here is a quote that really comes to heart. “Water, thou hast no taste, no color, no odor; canst not be defined, art relished while ever mysterious. Not necessary to life, but rather life itself, thou fullest us with a gratification that exceeds the delight of the senses.” » Antoine de Saint-Exupery

For many of us, water simply flows from a faucet, and we think little about it beyond this point of contact. We have lost a sense of respect for the wild river, for the complex workings of a wetland, for the intricate web of life that water supports.

We are the first generation to feel the sting of climate change, and we are the last generation that can do something about it.” – Jay Inslee

Yesterday I posted about water and how it effects our environment. Today its going to be the consequences we will be facing if we do not make a change.

The accumulation of plastic and other waste can be very harmful to marine fauna.

The animals may accidentally ingest waste material or be injured by floating objects. Even the plastic rings from packs of cans can become deadly traps.

A direct consequence of water pollution of rivers, lakes and the sea are the introduction of toxic elements into the food chain. Humans, at the top of the food chain, may ingest large quantities of heavy metals that accumulate from animal to animal, which is why we are advised not to eat large amounts of tuna or shark.

In addition, the more contaminated the water is, the more toxic compounds evaporate into the atmosphere and cause acid rain.

Shockingly, contaminated water can lead to the elimination of entire species as a result of oxygen deficiency in the water.

“Even if you never have the chance to see or touch the ocean, the ocean touches you with every breath you take, every drop of water you drink, every bite you consume. Everyone everywhere is inextricably connected to and utterly dependent upon the existence of the sea.” — Sylvia Earle

Good morning Friday ⭐ They do not love, that do not show their love ❣️ Enjoy

“If we pollute the air, water and soil that keep us alive and well, and destroy the biodiversity that allows natural systems to function, no amount of money will save us.” – David Suzuki

“I have long understood that climate change is not only an environmental issue – it is a humanitarian, economic, health, and justice issue as well.” – Frances Beinecke

Until tomorrow, there is no question that climate change is happening; the only arguable point is what part humans are playing in it. What part are you personally taking to make a change? Send me a message, love to hear from you!
