Faith is like radar that sees through the fog.

Hello Followers,

As I wipe my eyes and start getting up this morning, it dawned on me that this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This subject, I’m very passionate on for eleven years ago in November 2010; I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

For eleven years, Dan and I have struggled to find the cause; the root and not just the treatment of our cancer.

Through this, we created this blog and website, along with sharing our viewpoint, sharing our experiences and the knowledge we gained throughout the years.

There is much more to the reasons why?

Could it be you are what you eat!

Could it be the pollution that is in our environment!

Could it be our emotions!

The cause always leads to keeping our cells happy.

For we are made up of cells and if you do not make them happy our bodies will become unhealthy.

This month, Dan and I are honoring the people that have passed on or have been suffering from this illness.

We will also, continue sharing parts of past posts on BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH.

As this month continues, faith has gotten Dan and I through days where strength is needed.

Faith is something that we cannot see, yet it is a very real presence in everyone’s life.

Everyone believes something.

Faith is usually a word we use in association with God; however, even those that have no faith in God still have faith in something.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

Given all this social pressure, most natural left-handers were forcibly switched to right-handers.

Ronald Regan, who was born left-handed, was switched.

If he hadn’t been, there would have been still another left-handed President.

Left-handers have a reputation for being a little ditzy.

People used to think they got that way from coping with a right-handed world in which everything from light bulbs to bottle openers went the wrong way.

It’s hard sometimes not to be afraid.

But it’s much harder always to live in fear.

Faith means believing something is true, sometimes without any proof at all.

Have faith in yourself and the proof will follow.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Tomorrow I will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Knowing what helps ease the tension and stimulate the production of hormones that give us a feeling of well-being is crucial as we handle the ups-and-down emotions that swirl around screwed-up people.

You can’t stop negative thoughts and the resulting emotions when you are coping in difficult situations with people who are hard to get along with.

But you can keep those feelings from over-whelming you by controlling what you allow to play over and over in your mind

It’s all right to be angry, hurt, sad, concerned, confused, and bewildered as long as you don’t stay stuck in those emotions.

To stop negative thoughts, lift the needle on your mental record player.

To be continued tomorrow-

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of TURMERIC. It’s amazing what and how turmeric can help keep your body healthy?

Did you know that turmeric helps prevent cancer?

Cancer is a disease, characterized by uncontrolled cell growth.

There are many different forms of cancer that appear to be affected by curcumin supplements.

Curcumin has been studied as a beneficial herb in cancer treatment and been found to affect cancer growth and development.

Studies have shown that it can; contribute to the death of cancerous cells, reduce angiogenesis (growth of new blood vessels in tumors), reduce metastasis (spread of cancer).

Whether high-dose curcumin, preferably with an absorption enhancer like piperine; can help treat cancer in humans has yet to be studied properly.

However, there is evidence that it may prevent cancer from occurring in the first place, especially cancers of the digestive system like colorectal cancer.

In a 30-day study in 44 men with lesions in the colon that sometimes turn cancerous, 4 grams of curcumin per day reduced the number of lesions by 40%.

Curcumin leads to several changes on the molecular level that may help prevent and perhaps even treat cancer.

In lab and animal studies, turmeric has stopped the growth of tumor cells, helped detoxifying enzymes work better, and more.

What these studies can't tell us, though, is what will happen in the human body when a person eats turmeric.

Plus, there's a chance that turmeric might interfere with some chemotherapy drugs.

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while

managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

It's feeling more and more like fall.

During our afternoon walk yesterday on this first day of October, weather was perfect; a mixture of summer and fall.

Couldn't be much better with a breeze and the sun shining down.
