Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have twenty-four-hour days.

Hello Followers,

It’s Hump Day and this means half way through the week.

It’s also the first day of FALL, blessings as we all get ready for this amazing season when leaves turn in their most beautiful colors in their last days.

Let’s get right to on how time moves!

We and Scientists still have much to learn about how we perceive time, and why time operates differently depending on the scale.

But what’s certain is that, outside of the realm of physics, our individual perception of time is also surprisingly elastic.

Time moves differently atop a mountain than it does on a beach.

But you don’t need to travel any distance at all to experience strange distortions in your perception of time.

In moments of life-or-death fear, for example, your brain would release large amounts of adrenaline, which would speed up your internal clock, causing you to perceive the outside world as moving slowly.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

We all agree that left-handers are special.

But are they especially good?

Or especially bad?

To find out, we must enter a very strange world.

The world of the human brain, a shadowy place of surprise and contradictions; only partially mapped and imperfectly understood.

But we know it holds the key to the secret of left-handedness.

If you were to travel back in time to younger days, you’d have to learn all that you’ve learned all over again.

If you could fast forward to years from now, all of today’s problems would be solved; all of the outcomes would be known.

But the adventure would be over.

There would be no more choices left to make.

So, take all that wisdom you’ve gained in your past, live in the moment, do your best, summon your courage, and build your life on what you’ve learned.

There is still time ahead of you, but it will pass quickly.

Now is the time to do, to be and to live.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Tomorrow I will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

So, should we avoid people who cause our blood pressure to rise?

Socrates would say yes!

Centuries ago, he, like his contemporary Hippocrates, taught that the body could not be cured without concern for the mind.

What we think is what we are or will become, and thoughts are definitely influenced by those around us.

Today Norman Cousins, in Anatomy of an Illness, points out the debilitating influence of negativity on recovery from many critical illnesses, in contract to the rehabilitating influence of laughter and encouragement.

Dr. Bernie Siegel asks people who come to him for medical treatments, why did you need this disease?

His comment might stretch the point, but there is no question that there is a strong correlation between our emotional health and our physical health.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of TURMERIC. It’s amazing what and how turmeric can help keep your body healthy?

In the past, turmeric has been used in Ayurvedic medicine in South Asia and China for various conditions such as rheumatism, severe pain, fatigue, and breathing problems for over 4,000 years.

Indian people believed that the root’s healing powers can cure many illnesses.

The best-known health benefit of turmeric is its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, giving it the power to alleviate swelling and pain in conditions such as arthritis.

Inflammation is a very common cause of pain and discomfort. It can also contribute to the development of certain diseases.

Turmeric usage reduces the risk of the side effects of taking prescription anti-inflammatory drugs.

A Guided Meditation on the Body, Space, and Awareness with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

In this short guided meditation, Tibetan Buddhist meditation master Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche gives simple instructions for bringing awareness to the body, sensory experience, space, and finally to awareness itself.

The main point of the practice is to fully embrace the present moment with mindfulness and awareness.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can ‘see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford
