♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸♫♪¸¸.•*¨ DON"T WORRY BE HAPPY.

Yesterday morning Fed-Ex dropped off Dan’s MY PILLOW💤, for he is very hard on pillows.

Hopefully he found the one for him. I love the extra gift that was placed in the package.

Thank you, Mr. Pillow, for sharing an inspirational message. We do take things for granted and this brought Dan and I back to why words and thoughts are so important.

Since I just got up with the smell of coffee that Dan just put on, I’ll have to ask him how the MY PILLOW was.

The final word will be coming in days to come!

How many are you out there that are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

There are many things that are right-handed; gum wrapper openers are right-handed and so are apple cores.

Something as simple as a frying pan becomes a real nuisance if there’s only one pouring lip. It’s always on the wrong side.

Scissors are right-handed.

Can openers be right-handed and so are wrist watches.

As Dan and I continue the series on words and thoughts. I’m going to throw in a twist with sharing the Importance of keeping your word to others and yourself that can affect your and others health.

Just as people will judge you based on whether or not you keep your word to others, you also need to keep your word for your own well-being.

If you’re continually setting intentions for change or resolutions, but do not follow through on them, eventually you’ll not believe in your own abilities to achieve your goals and intentions.

Basically, when you speak words over yourself; say you are going to make changes, and always fail to follow through on them, your unconscious mind basically says to itself, “Yeah right!

Good luck with that, same ole, same ole!”

Unfortunately, most of us have a historical string of broken promises to ourselves.

We’ve all done it so don’t feel isolated or full of shame if you see yourself here.

The fact is keeping promises to yourself show you respect and consider yourself as important as others. And you are as important as others.

It’s not about becoming so self-important you abandon all others; it’s about balance.

Your unconscious mind is what keeps you in the same continual patterns and habits, and if you are continually not following through on your word, then your unconscious mind does not take you seriously and will offer the same old way of following through on your word; doing absolutely nothing!

You need to set intentions, ‘words’ you plan on keeping, or following through on.

This not only proves to others you’re serious and have integrity with keeping promises, but also for your own self (unconscious mind).

Viewing rejection as you’re not good enough will cause you to try to change in order to become good enough, for that person or circumstance.

Seeing rejection as if it’s not right for you, but they happened to recognize it first; frees you to find something or someone who is right for you instead.

At the heart of this shift in thinking are four very important things:

1. Love yourself.

2. Accept yourself.

3. Do your best.

4. Have confidence in the other three.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today’s post will continue on – CHAPTER FOUR, GET OFF THE FENCE; MAKING THE CHOICE!

Settle your commitment to the relationship, one way or other, knowing that either path exacts a price.

Commitment is a decision; it is also a process that gives you back your life.

Being passive destroys the possibilities for a healthy relationship, even as it keeps you subservient and feeling victimized.

The indispensable first step to getting the things you want out of life is this, DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT.

Ø Straddling the fence is a death sentence for your relationship.

Ø The hope is for a new beginning.

Ø Sometimes quitting is the only way to not quit.

Ø The lifeblood of successful living is owning your choices.

Ø See what you have, the past. See what you want, the present. And see what can be, the future.

Tomorrow I will begin on – CHAPTER FIVE; PULL OUT THE SPLINTERS.

Splinters on our inside find a way to affect our outside.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?

Sage is loaded with antioxidants.

Antioxidants are molecules that help fortify your body’s defenses, neutralizing potentially harmful free radicals that are linked to chronic diseases.

Sage contains over 160 distinct polyphenols, which are plant-based chemical compounds that act as antioxidants in your body.

Chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, rosmarinic acid, ellagic acid and rutin; all found in sage.

They are linked to impressive health benefits, such as a lower risk of cancer and improved brain function and memory.

One study found that drinking 1 cup (240 ml) of sage tea twice daily significantly increased antioxidant defenses.

It also lowered both total cholesterol and “bad” LDL cholesterol, as well as raised “good” HDL cholesterol.

Sage is loaded with antioxidants that are linked to several health benefits, including improved brain function and lower cancer risk.

More benefits of sage tomorrow.

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Another humid day here yesterday in Roanoke VA. However, that doesn't stop 🛑 Dan and I from walking in nature. Love being among the tall 🎄 trees.

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Guided Mindfulness Meditation: Being the Boundless - Become Your Best Self (15 minutes)

This guided mindfulness meditation session will focus on self-realization by helping you to become your best self.

It is what I call being the boundless.

If we open our minds and find self-acceptance.

This can bring healing by helping to lower anxiety and stress, and bring a feeling of calm and inner peace.

This session is 15 minutes total, with 9 minutes of spoken dialogue followed by 6 minutes of ambient music.

You can enjoy this meditation daily, either in the morning, at a break in the day, or before you sleep at night.

Let it free your mind - become the boundless!

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
