We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.

Hello followers,

Happy Monday! As I ponder over my weekend, I was listening to this mediation; which led me to think of gratitude and that it is a fullness of one’s heart.

We take so much for granted and don’t step back and see the wealth, abundance, love, and happiness in our lives. When I was in high school my friend once said you will always find someone better off then you and someone not as fortunate as you. This means you will always be in between. This has always stood with me all these years.

Now, I’m changing the subject, Dan and I are getting excited for our friends for over thirty years plus are coming from Florida to visit us. We are so appreciative of them; they are there for us anytime. So, yes - we will be exploring more of Virginia this week, along with our friends. Stay tune for pictures and experiences that Dan and I will share of God’s country.

Moving along, with appreciating family, friends, co-workers, partners and etc.; If you don’t show them that you are in their life and how much you care and appreciate them, they could go away, and they might find someone else that will appreciate them more than you did, and it will be too late.

When someone has a taste of feeling appreciated and loved by someone, and especially, when they didn’t feel appreciated and loved by you, it will be very hard to get that love back.

In life, we don’t always get second chances. Many times, all we get is one shot, and it’s important to put it all out there when the opportunity happens. We shouldn’t take things or people for granted in life. While we have them, we should be dedicated and smart enough to appreciate them, and be thankful for having them in our lives.

If you’re tired of being let down, put down, or brought down by the same person or people, maybe it’s time to quit giving them any more opportunities to do so.

Maybe it’s time to create some room in your life for a person or people who value you.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today I’m continuing on CHAPTER TWO - WHEN THE PRESSURE IS ON.

No one controls you unless you allow the control. In any pressure-loaded situation you must decided your course. Talk it out. The problem will not resolve itself. It will only get worse as time goes on and you, by your silence, comply.

If you intend to change the pressure and its power in your life, you must talk about your options and state your limits and boundaries to the person who has the ability to bring about change.

When you set your limits, you too must be willing to accept the consequences.

In the days ahead this week; Dan and I will be posting on ascertain the options, consider the cost, know your limits, own your choice.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Continuing on the health benefits on PEPPERMINT. You might be surprised!

Peppermint’s analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity may also help with muscular pains and arthritis.

Apply a few drops of peppermint oil on the affected areas and massage for a few minutes.

For strained muscles after a strenuous workout, add a few drops of peppermint oil to a warm water bath to relax and soothe strained muscle.

Peppermint also helps to treat menstrual cramps. Drink one cup of peppermint tea 2 to 3 times a day to soothe menstrual pains.

Tomorrow I’ll post more peppermint benefits.

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

Sometimes the best things are right in front of you; it just takes some time to see them.

Until Tuesday, make it a habit to tell people thank you. Express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you'll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it.
