Wisdom is knowing when to have rest, when to have activity, and how much of each to have.
INFORMATION FROM THE CANCER CONTROL SOCIETY CONVENTION OF 2017 - AROMATHERAPY
Healing takes time. Living takes time. A heart that's always listening and a mind that's always learning gets tired. And when you're tired, you need to rest — makes sense, right!
Being kind enough to give yourself a break is the wise thing to do, right!
You need to sleep to regenerate everything your body breaks down during the day. It's how your systems can repair and rebuild themselves. And it’s nearly impossible to be well -- mentally,
emotionally, physically -- if you aren’t sleeping well. If you’re not resting, you’re not healing.
Taking care of yourself is one of the best ways to take care of others.
Healing is an evolving process of figuring out what works to hold you together -- all the pieces of you and your life.
A wise man (my doctor in Mexico) taught me if you change your lifestyle it will change the process of healing.
“Sometimes you need to give yourself a break when you’ve had a lot of life change.” — Barbara Freethy
Continuing on with INFORMATION FROM THE CANCER CONTROL SOCIETY CONVENTION OF 2017. Its another day of Aromatherapy.
Cancer is a broad term that covers a group of diseases that are caused due to the abnormal growth of specific cells in the body, which hinder proper functioning.
Another excellent home remedy to manage cancer is aromatherapy. Aromatherapy involves filling the room with the fragrance of scented oils or even adding them to your bath water. You can use essential oils such as lavender oil to undergo this therapy.
In addition to it, aromatherapy can also reduce the side effects that are associated with cancer treatments that involve nausea, dry mouth, vomiting, hot flashes, and even anxiety.
Before undergoing this age-old therapy, it is strongly advised that you consult your functional medicine doctor who will be able to guide you best in this regard.
The truth about essential oils for cancer is three-fold. There is no placebo, randomized-controlled studies that evaluate essential oils on humans; however in vitro along with animal studies suggest that essential oils can help prevent and treat cancer at the cellular level. In terms of human studies, essential oils have only been shown to be effective at managing the side effects related to cancer itself, and the side effects people suffer at the hands of medical interventions.
Thus, all reference to using essential oils for cancer treatment and prevention is highly experimental.
It is critical to recognize that this is not an all-or-nothing approach. Just because you’re taking chemo doesn’t mean that you can’t use essential oils for cancer. The same is true on the flip side of that coin. Far too many patients and healthcare practitioners dichotomize natural from allopathic therapies, and do not give enough emphasis on the practicality of using both together. This field of study is called “integrative oncology,” and is growing rapidly.
COURAGE TO TRY🎨
There are literally thousands upon thousands of testimonials of people on the Internet claiming that essential oils for cancer helped managed their issue. This cannot be disputed because a vast majority of them are your normal, not-trying-to-make-a-buck kind of people who are not trying to sell a product. These are the so-called medical “miracles,” which we hope to be the ultimately basis for further research.

“Real rest feels like every cell is thanking you for taking care of you. It’s calm, not full of checklists and chores. It’s simple: not multitasking; not fixing broken things.” — Jennifer Williamson
Until tomorrow, we must always change, renew, rejuvenate ourselves, otherwise we harden.
