ART AND KNOWLEDGE
MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION –
BODY, HEART AND SOUL
ENJOYING LIFE WHILE MANAGING CANCER
Dan and my hope are that through learning about our experience, you the reader can discover the alternative strategies for cancer treatment and other diseases. The decision to choose a course of action is personal, and it is better to be aware of the options. Many times, for various reasons we are not informed of successful methodologies for survival of specific cancers. It is important for each of us not to entirely listen to the advice of our doctor; we should make an effort to seek information that may have the effect of least helping you to understand more what is happening. The journey to wellness can take several paths, and we should be open to that idea. Knowledge is power and in our particular case, it helped us to cope with the fear we were feeling and gave us confidence to use a different direction. Dan and I provided each other with the encouragement to go another way that was not within my country. Our goal is to share our story. If you find strength in your fight, then Dan and I achieved a purpose larger than ourselves. Through a journal, Sherry wrote a book that shows the experiences that we both experienced through other treatments.
Also, through art and writing articles, Sherry continues to express the knowledge of enjoying life while managing cancer. If anything, we have learned it is all about lifestyle changes and through the book and art we have shown our passion to continue to share knowledge and information.
PLEASE NOTE: HOWEVER; THIS EDITION WAS DATED 2014, SINCE THEN DOCTORS HAVE CHANGED. OUR DOCTOR DOES THE SAME PROGRAM BUT AS AN OUTPATIENT. FOR MORE INFORMARTION CLICK HERE.
FOOD FACES

I have always admired art and education. Throughout my life I would be creative in making different things for my home and also while cooking. My dinners would come from my heart with the creative twist of my own ideas. As I continue to grow with this knowledge of nutrition, health and wellness; I will share designs through art. My biggest passion is healthy eating, for this is one of the biggest parts of what helped me heal from breast cancer. You are what you eat and I wanted to show this through art.

These designs are from organic foods that I would purchase at the Tuesday market while living in Mexico. I would go home and while putting away the vegetables and fruits, designs would pop in my head. Arranging them on the table to look like food faces, I then would take a picture.

My hopes are that this would promote more understanding of what we eat.
