Time must be good at hiding. If you don't make an effort to find it, it sure will sneak up on you.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON; TIME AND CONTINUING LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

How has things been treating you on this fine weekend day?

I received a message on messenger today from a friend that says the sky is very cloudy today in Florida.

I answered back, that she has always made her own sunshine.

So, if the skies are cloudy or gray where you are, remember that; you can make your own sunshine

It’s time to encourage you to use your time wisely.

Enjoy!

Time moves surprisingly fast.

In life, you turn around and before you know it, years have gone by.

Time is the most precious resource we have at our disposal.

On this earth, we only have a limited amount of time to spend with our friends, family and loved ones.

But although we have the same number of hours in a day, many of us never seem to have enough time.

Some people seem to be able to get more from their day than others.

Making the most of your time boils down to time management, you have to plan, prioritize, and spend wisely the hours you have.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

Psychologists are fascinated with left-handers.

They’re constantly studying them and coming up with reasons not to be left-handed.

For example, recent studies by psychologist Theodore Blau (he of the counterclockwise circles) show left-handers to be, stubborn, oversensitive, impulsive, and embarrassing to the family.

Of course, this kind of data cuts both ways.

Left-handers one of which was Joan of Arc was certainly impulsive, but that’s how she won battles.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

TIME

Time is never truly wasted.

The point of life is to learn.

Even if you were stuck in a bad relationship for a long, long time, it was the exact amount of time needed for the lesson.

If, when we were born, we received a guide to our lives that told us how long it would take to learn lessons about self-worth, changing people, and love; it would make things a lot easier.

But it would be like a word search book with all the words already circled.

There just wouldn’t be any point.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

WITH PICTURE

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

25 PICTURES - ENJOY THE SLIDE SHOW

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Tomorrow I will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

KNOW WHEN TO STOP.

In the movie WAR GAMES, a U.S. government computer was programmed to start a global nuclear war.

Once the program was set in motion, all attempts to alter it were futile.

At the last second the computer stopped itself, saying; interesting game.

The only way to win is not to play.

The only way to win in a relationship that is entangled by abuse is to stop playing the game.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of THYME. It’s amazing what and how thyme can help keep your body healthy?

Now, are you ready for another recipe with thyme?

What about, TOMATOES PROVENCAL!

This is a simple and delicious way to enjoy your heirloom tomatoes.

Many traditional recipes call for bread crumbs, but you can opt for a simple version to highlight the aromatic herbs like thyme and basil.

Ingredients:

3 medium heirloom tomatoes, sliced in half crosswise

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

2 teaspoons fresh thyme, or 1 teaspoon dried thyme

¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste

3 tablespoons olive oil

¼ cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

2. Arrange the 6 tomato halves in a baking pan.

3. Mix together the garlic, parsley, basil, thyme, black pepper and salt with the olive oil.

4. Sprinkle this mixture on the tomato halves.

5. Bake for 20 minutes or until tomatoes are tender.

6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and broil for 1 to 2 minutes or until the cheese is golden.

7. Cool slightly and eat while still warm.

8. ENJOY!
