I believe the world is incomprehensibly beautiful, an endless prospect of magic and wonder.
Continuing the SERIES ON BELIEVING
Today Dan has planned for us to go to APPOMATTOX. So, today we are leaving real early and this will cut the blog for today short. You know the saying; life is short and it is up to you to make it sweet. This is actually what I’m doing with this page.
As children, we are very sensitive to nature’s beauty, finding miracles and interesting things everywhere. As we grow up, we tend to forget how beautiful and magnificent the world is.
There is magic and wonder for eyes who know how to look with curiosity and love. Dan and I will be finding magic in the beauty like children of the area here in Virginia at APPOMATTOX and tomorrow will post the beauty we had found.
Dan is a history buff and since we have been living here in Virginia for two years, he’s been wanting to go see where the end of the Civil War ended. Maybe if I give a brief history, you will understand – HUH!! At the time of the Civil War, the present community of Appomattox was the site of a railroad depot on the line between Petersburg and Lynchburg, a stop on the Southside Railroad. The town was first named "Nebraska" in 1855. In 1895 it was renamed "West Appomattox". The first postmaster of "Nebraska, Virginia", was Samuel D. McDearmon.
Near the end of the Civil War, Robert E. Lee made a last attempt to reach the depot, hoping to transport the Army of Northern Virginia south by railroad to meet Joseph E. Johnston's larger Army of Tennessee, then located in Greensboro, North Carolina. The arrival of Federal troops and their blocking Lee's army from the depot led to Lee's surrender in the home of Wilmer McLean, on April 9. Johnston later surrendered 98,270 Confederate troops (the largest surrender of the war), marking the end of the conflict on April 26, 1865. Small bands of soldiers continued fighting until June 1865.

MAKE EACH DAY SHINE ONE DAY AT A TIME
You have a chance to be as happy as any one person has ever been. You have an opportunity to be as proud as anyone you’ve ever known. You have the potential to make a very special dream come true.
All you have to do is recognize the possibilities, the power and the wonder of today.
It’s right here right now and prayers will help to do the right thing by recognizing it for the golden opportunity, and the gift that it is.
Living life, a day at a time means living a life that is blessed with awareness, appreciation and accomplishment. For one day, you can be everything you were meant to be.
For one amazing day!
The weight is lifted. The path is clearer. The goal in attainable. The prayer is heard. The strength is sure. The courage is complete. The belief is steady, sweet and true.
For one remarkable day!!
There is a brighter light in your life. The will to walk up the mountain takes you exactly where you want to go. The heart understands what serenity really means. And your hopes, wishes and dreams will not disappear from view.
For one magnificent day!!!

CLOSE YOUR DOOR
When you’re trying to seek out space you sometimes need a physical barrier between you and the outside world. Sometimes as simple as shutting the door to your room will tell others that you are taking some time. It can also work as a visual prompt to allow your mind to switch off to.
Spending time alone in your own company reinforces your self-worth and is often the number one way to replenish your resilience reserves. By Sam Owen
Yesterday Dan decided to shine the tires of the car. Our favorite place the mall parking lot. It was a great place for us to do our two-mile walk👢
Today since we will be walking most of the day, we are going to play hooky and will meditate with the beauty of the nature. So, like Sunday you can go back in the past blogs and pick out your favorites to do for today. Recapping - all you have to do is go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the left side where there are Search by Tag words - click on them- #walk #swingexercise #Qigong #meditation the blogs will pop up and just click on the videos on the page.
As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of BELIEVING, entry from 1-30-12.
Nature comes alive when the wind speaks to the trees with the whisper of peace.
Through this sound we relate to the living plants and animals of nature to give birth to happiness.
We stand by with the echoing of our souls with a smile and give thanks to all the art of color around us.
THE SUN 🌞
The sun is the orchestra leader for the dance of life. Sunlight is more powerful than any drug; it's safe, effective and available free of charge. #sunshine🌞 #orchestra#dance#life#sunlight#powerful#drug#safe#effective#available#free#inspiration#motivation
Imagine the conversation that surrounds us and touch the thought of beauty that is in front of us.
Nature is God’s gift to us, and it takes us a sense of joy and calm.
We create the relationship of friendship through nature, and understand the ways it fits into our planet during the changes that take place.
Through your imagination, meditate on the beauty of the nature of colors around you.
Through nature I was healed.
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Yesterday, I promised a recipe of ROASTED ROOT VEGETABLES WITH FENNEL; however, since we will be out all day and Dan edit these posts. I have to end so he can do his job, but tomorrow is another day and for sure it will be blogged.
Until Wednesday, remember everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it. Nature is God’s gift to us, and it takes us a sense of joy and calm. Enjoy it!
