Happy Tuesday!

Wow today is officially the first day of Spring.

Time to put on a smile!

If you are feeling a little low, try this healing smile meditation.

Recall someone or something that makes you smile or laugh.

Maybe your best friend, or your pet, or your partner for example.

Soak in the warm feeling you get when you think about them and let the corners of your mouth curl up into a gentle smile.

Let this smile gather joy and energy and breathe these good feelings into your heart.

On each out-breath, direct this happy glow around your body.

Let it travel to all your organs, your lungs, heart, liver, kidneys, and digestive system.

Smile into each of them.

Smile, and let this loving energy travel along your limbs, along your arms. Hands, legs, and feet.

Keep visualizing what makes you feel happy.

Breathe it into your heart and keep radiating this happiness out around your body.

Practice this healing smile meditation any time you are going through a rough patch or are having a bad day.

So, this Tuesday let us gather joy, desire, energy, and breathe good feelings into your heart.

Desire is one of the most critical emotions human beings must understand.

Without it, we would be unable to set goals or act toward our dreams.

But there are times when our desires and wants are mistaken for our needs.

Our desires trigger the same system in our brains whenever we need something.

So, to not get confused between the two, we must understand their differences better.

There are a couple of things you can think about to differentiate the two.

For example, you might want a delicious meal not because you are hungry but because you enjoy eating good food.

You might want to buy an expensive bag not because you need it but because you just want to own beautiful things.

These statements can help you understand that desires do not always relate to necessity.

Although that is the case, desires are still the starting point of everything we want to achieve.
