RECAP OF THE SILENT KILLER - POLLUTION Hello Sunday, It’s the last Sunday in August, much happiness from both Dan and Sherry. Dan and I walk around our neighborhood and realize how important our environment is to us. We often take things for granted and forget the importance of what the environment includes. Since May 24th, I have been blogging on something we all take for granted and will eventually this issue will kill you. In researching pollution, Dan and I have realized that most positively this is what helps to cause many diseases. We all need to open up our eyes to this situation and take a stand! Just think of what we are doing to the: Biotic processes: These involves living organism

Our ability to handle life's challenges is a measure of our strength of character.

CORONA VIRUS AND PLASTIC POLLUTION Hello Saturday, You should never view your challenges as a disadvantage. Instead, it's important for you to understand that your experience facing and overcoming adversity is actually one of your biggest advantages. Challenges come to us to make us better, not bitter. There is wisdom in challenges, you must look for them. Challenges can make you or break you. When an unanticipated situation occurs and catches you by shock, see it as a learning experience, face it and deal with it just like the challenge; teaching you the ways to handle tough situations in life. Challenges make us strong and strengthen our powers to become more grown and enlightened. Some

Bisphenol A (BPA) is deadly Hello Friday, Wow, I can’t believe its Friday again. It’s hard to believe that a whole week has gone by and the week end is approaching us again. Yesterday, we stepped out of our comfort zone for the second time since we got back from Mexico. Dan had to get some prescription medicine filled. He had joined the prescription group with Kroger, so we walked about a mile to go to pick them up. While we were walking, since it was so hot; like before the corona virus we would break up the walk by going to the mall along our way. Dan and I decided to advance into the mall. Before we left the apartment, we sprayed ourselves with BRIOTECH. As we entered into the mall, putti

CORONA VIRUS AND PLASTIC POLLUTION Hello Thursday, Dan and I were discussing the other day, where has August gone. It seems like it just flew on by. Wait, wasn’t it just March? I do not know about you, but I think the corona virus just hijacked us for most of this year. Time can be an ally or an enemy. What it becomes depends entirely upon you, your goals, and your determination to use every available minute. A person can have many dreams and aspirations in life. In order to fulfill all or at least some of these dreams, one needs to be determined and focused. It is not always a bed of roses laid down before you. One has to tread the path that is least taken and carve out a way for oneself. I

CONTINUING ON CORONA VIRUS AND PLASTIC POLLUTION Hello Wednesday – Hump Day, Last week Dan and I ordered on line from Kroger, like every week. The order most of the time comes within two hours after the shopper shops. I usually receive a text, when they can not find the product I had ordered, which then I would have to find a substitute for. This shopper last week did not ask me, just replaced on his/her own. When asked, he/she stated that they know by my comments. When received at the door, Dan unpacked the bags and noticed a card. It was a thank you card with a message inside and a coupon. For over 8 months, we have been on line ordering from Kroger and this is the first time we got the or

CONTINUING ON CORONA VIRUS AND PLASTIC POLLUTION Hello Tuesday, Good day everyone, it’s the last full week of August. Did we have fun this month? We all feel the pressures to conform throughout our lives — to the expectations, values or worldviews of others, be it in our intimate circles or in society at large. In the short run, it can seem the easy way out to simply bend to the opinions of others in our pursuits of intimacy, acceptance and achievement. It’s only in the long run that we realize this “success” can bring little happiness, because it’s a kind made for the life of another. It’s time you faced your fears and found the courage to build your future from the inside out. To aid you o

PLASTIC POLLUTION Good morning Monday, Dan and I are getting back slowly to sociability by going to our favorite coffee shop on our walks. We bring our spray and spray down the seats and ourselves (BRIOTECH). I keep our masks in my purse, if needed, along with gloves. Dan and I also stay social distanced and sit outside. For now, this will be the new norm! Since Dan’s treatments in Mexico, we have been in airports, public bathrooms, in restaurants, hotel and clinic; with all we have been precautions of our surroundings and protection. We have been listening to the news and other sources everyday on what is going on with the virus. Still there is uncertainty. No one really can tell us why, wh

The sun does not shine for a few trees and flowers, but for the wide world's joy

LIGHT POLLUTION (artificial light) Good day Sunday, Who doesn’t love sunshine? While we bask in its rays at the park or going to the beach, it’s easy to forget the sun is actually a giant, scorching hot star. Without it, earthlings would face eternal night and certain doom. Don’t take the warmth for granted. Nevertheless, sunshine 15 minutes is very healthy for you. Dan and I take walks daily and enjoy some sunshine with the wind blowing across our faces. The sun is the most important thing in everybody's life, whether you're a plant, an animal or a fish, and we take it for granted. Danny Boyle Today I’m going to blog about light pollution. Who ever thought that light would be bad for you? W

Say no to noise pollution.

Well, its Saturday, Each morning when I open my eyes, I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make myself happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. As Dan and I regroup from our stay in Mexico, we are taking each day as it comes. Enjoying the time with each hour is priceless. Being happy is one of life’s lofty, and often elusive goals. We search high and low, looking for happiness in our partners, careers, and even bank accounts. Everyone’s path to contentment will look different. So, each one of us look at today and do the best today. Tomorrow will be here bef

The white noise of an industrial and commercial society drowns out our ability to think.

Its Friday and start of the weekend, These days Dan and I try to make each day fun, even during these uncertain times. What is your definition of fun? The standard definition of fun suggests some overlap with the concept of play. In fact, these two words are often mentioned together. However, play often appears to be the overarching term, where fun is more specific to experiencing enjoyment. For example, when defining play, play researcher Scott Eberle, Ph.D., writes that fun is one of the basic elements of play. He also observes that we play because the act of play promises fun. If there were no fun in play, we would likely not play. This suggests a relationship between the concepts of fun

A Noise pollution refers to excessive noise.

Hello Thursday, Time is ticking, it’s been said since we can all remember that time is a terrible thing to waste. It’s an expiration that’s ever-present, and if we sit around wasting it, we will be sorry that we let it go to waste. Time is something that no one can ever get back, and is precious. Feel gracious for each minute you’ve been gifted. Time moves surprisingly fast. In life, you turn around and before you know it, years have gone by. This is what is happening to Dan and I. As we get older this means more, time is the most precious resource we have at our disposal. On this earth, we only have a limited amount of time to spend with our friends, family and loved ones. But although we h

Be clean, be green, be a recycling machine.

Good morning Wednesday, Its hump day – hurray the week is half way over. Dan and I are learning patience, with the new era there are different situations that take time to solve. Patience doesn’t mean passivity or resignation, but power. It’s an emotionally freeing practice of waiting, watching, and knowing when to act. I learned to give patience a 21st-century makeover so Dan and I would appreciate its worth. Patience has gotten a bad rap for the wrong reasons. To many people, when you say, “Have patience,” it feels unreasonable and inhibiting. Is this what you’re thinking? Well, reconsider. I’m presenting patience as a form of compassion, a re-attuning to intuition, a way to emotionally r

Environmental pollution is an incurable disease. It can only be prevented.

Its Tuesday Have a great day, When you demonstrate certainty and have the assurance in your abilities you are demonstrating confidence. Being confident in yourself allows you to try new things, to not be discouraged if it doesn't work the first time, to allow any failures to become lessons to move forward. The new mini Video’s will be on confidence, HOPE YOU ENJOY! Dan and I are back to walking two miles and doing meditation. As we unwind from our trip to Mexico for Dan’s treatments. We also were getting IVs to boost our immune system to help ward off the corona virus and situations that may be due to flying on planes. I feel quite confident that this corona virus will not attack Dan or I. Y

Do not throw garbage to the sea, keep it Clean for you and Me.

Hello Monday, Dan and I are getting back to the new norm. Upon arrival was a fast weekend, which past right by us. Getting use to a different time change from Mexico and taking three planes back home on Friday took a toll on our bodies. Sleep was needed along with giving our Heckle some caring and loving. Yesterday I started blogging on another issue that we take for granted the pollution on land which is our sewage problem. Sewage water pollution is a deadly threat to biodiversity. In today's world, sewage water pollution is one of the major problems faced by most cities. This kind of pollution leads to health-related and environmental issues. “Environmental pollution is an incurable disea

Create the highest grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.

POLLUTION- SEWAGE TREATMENT Happy Sunday evening, Dan and I are still winding down from our travels to Mexico. So, today the blog is delayed from unpacking and putting things away. Today I’m going to continue blogging on the big picture, the silent killer – POLLUTION. While we were in Mexico for Dan’s treatment, I spoke to our doctor, Dr. Garcia about the issues of our environment. For I remember ten years ago while I was being treated for cancer his words of wisdom were; you can’t change always the surroundings you live by, but you can change what you do in your home. This has stuck with me for many years and I have blogged about clean living. A vision is a big picture of what you seek for

Successful people have fear, successful people have doubts, and successful people have worries.

Successful people have fear, successful people have doubts, and successful people have worries. They just don’t let these feelings stop them. Hello Saturday, How we speak to ourselves is how we see ourselves, and sometimes we need new examples of how our inner conversation should go. At one point or another, we will all need a self-esteem boost! That motivation can be both internal and external. But it’s something that we must continually work at. People who have an empowered self-image will have a greater understanding of the world and their connection to it. How do you define self-esteem? Well according to Webster, self-esteem is “a confidence and satisfaction in oneself.” Always keep your

One of the sincerest forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say.

Happy Thursday, Yesterday Dan had his last Natural Killer Cells and today before we leave to the airport, Dan and I will have another booster of vitamins to help our immune system. With today’s uncertain times, when flying we thought it best to take extra precautions. Late this evening we will be waiting for our plane in San Diego airport, for our flight leaves early in the morning. Tomorrow Dan and I will be spending the total day in airports and flying, until we arrive in Roanoke late tomorrow evening. I will not be blogging tomorrow; however, I will continue Saturday. Today the word that comes in mind is respect. Dan and I respect and truly believe in the type of treatments that we have c

Its Wednesday, Wow, time flies by so fast, we are at the end of Dan’s treatments. We are going to be leaving in one more day. Can’t wait to get back to the new norm! I know Heckle will be happy to see us. Everyday this week and last I associated a word with Dan’s treatments in Mexico. Today its Listening. I spoke with our Doctor, Dr. Garcia and asked if I can interview him regarding the treatments that he has treated us for the past ten years. I thought, how great it would be to hear from him personally. So, today I’m dedicating this piece to Dr. Garcia for without him we would not have the knowledge and quality of life we are living. The peak The mystery Of climbing to The top brings glory

Be the change that you wish to see in the world.

Hello Tuesday, Dan has two more days of treatments before Thursday in which we are leaving to go home early Friday. Growth is defined as the process of developing physically, mentally, or spiritually; the process of increasing in amount, value, or importance. Education is the most powerful tool in the world- whatever we are taught, we believe it’s true. Imagine, for your whole life, you were taught that the country you live in is the only one that exists in the world- and then later you find out that this isn’t true at all. We depend so much on education without fully realizing it. This was so true about cancer. We are taught only conventional ways, but there is so much out there to learn re
