Beware of your words as you say them. Words are so very powerful, and we never know what state of mind someone is in at any time.

Hello followers,

HAPPY WEEKEND and APRIL FOOLS!

April Fools' Day is a holiday that is all about having fun and playing pranks on those around you.

While practical jokes are a popular way to celebrate this holiday, there is another way to bring some lightheartedness to the occasion: funny sayings!

April Fools' Day funny sayings can be a fun and humorous way to celebrate the holiday and share a laugh with your friends and family.

Do you have any funny sayings?

Or even pranks!

Here is a funny prank to start your weekend out, Coffee talk.

Depending on how dependent your April Fools’ prank recipient is on their morning coffee, we will admit this joke is borderline cruel.

In this oldie but goodie, swap out sugar with salt, so when your target groggily goes to enjoy their first cup o’ joe, they will get a tastebud surprise.

Maybe keep a piping hot, properly made coffee with sugar waiting in the wings to smooth things over if this one does go awry!

In the meantime, check out Dan and my motivational mini videos.

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

APRIL 1st

LIFE HOLDS SO MANY SIMPLE PLEASURES!

To wake up and take a breath, to hear the lovely sounds of the morning, to feel the warmth of the rising sun, to smell fresh coffee and toasted bread; all pockets of delight that each day brings.

Our senses are coming alive as we awaken.

Take a moment to be grateful for each sense and notice what you are feeling as you open your eyes to welcome the day.

Take in the experience of feeling truly alive and grateful.

In the beginning of this week, Dan and I started blogging on how important WORDS play in our everyday lives.

And how words can change your mood.

You can take any word and turn it into something related to your health.

Let us take the word THOUGHTS AND WORDS for example.

Our thoughts are always true to our feelings.

We and only we know for certain what they are.

Before they become words, they may turn into what we think others would like to hear, but our thoughts do not change.

Others can assume only that our words are our thoughts, and they will react and respond to our words alone.

This is why it is so important to always speak true to your thoughts.

Others may not approve of or agree with what you say.

Speaking your truth takes courage, but it is essential to relationships built on honesty and trust.

If you always want to say the right thing, make sure to always think the right thoughts.

Someone who wants to make a good impression but worries about making a bad impression will likely say things that come out wrong, that they did not mean in that way, or that they should not have said at all.

Your thoughts are your word generators.

By keeping your mind calm and confident, you will see that everything you say will come out just fine.

If you look only for the positive, you will see only the positive and be blind to negatives that may hurt you later.

If you look only for negatives, you will find only them and be blind to positives you may love.

Only when you look, just look, can you see things as they really are.

Only when you clearly see both positives and negatives can you accurately decide if this certain experience is one you want in your life or not.

If you found out, realized, or learned something today that totally changes how you would once have acted or decisions you made in the past, do not beat yourself up for not knowing it before.

Think instead of how much your life will change from this day forward now that you know it and of how much better and wiser your decisions will be in the future.

Be grateful you learned it today and not ten years from now.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.

This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Sunday, think for a moment about meanings of the words encouraging and discouraging.

Courage carries on, regardless of the presence of fear.

To encourage someone is to enable them to have the courage to continue in

the direction they are going.

To discourage someone is to prevent them from having courage.

One kind word or one unkind word could be the one thing that keeps

someone going or the last straw that makes them quit.

Be aware of this when you choose the words you give to people.
