If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.

Hello Followers,

This morning as I got up from bed and smelled the coffee Dan made me; I was thinking about time.

It seems like a consequence that I have started this new series of TIME, during the time our daughter came to visit.

Just watching her interact with her son, brings back memories of the time I spent hands on with her.

My - how the time flies!

I’m not complaining, however; the past just shows my age. Don’t get me wrong, I still have the energy and spirit to play with my grandson. Dan and I feel very blessed that we are able to throw, crawl, and push.

This brings me to the next portion of this post.

Any time the future is definitely distinguishable from the past, there is something like heat involved.

Thermodynamics traces the direction of time to something called the low entropy of the past, a still mysterious phenomenon on which discussions rage.

Entropy growth orients time and permits the existence of traces of the past, and these permit the possibility of memories; which hold together our sense of identity.

What we call the flowing of time has to be understood by studying the structure of our brain rather than by studying physics; evolution has shaped our brain into a machine that feeds off memory in order to anticipate the future.

This is what we are listening to when we listen to the passing of time.

Understanding the flowing of time is therefore something that may pertain to neuroscience more than to fundamental physics.

Searching for the explanation of the feeling of flow in physics might be a mistake!

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

Maybe the final and wisest medical opinion on this subject comes from neurosurgeon, Joseph Bogan.

Right-handers are a bunch of chocolate soldiers.

If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.

But left-handers are something else again

Time doesn’t wait.

Indecision will only let opportunities slip by.

Pick a path and walk confidently with your heart behind every step.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Tomorrow I will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Think back to the last time you felt upset, uptight, frustrated, depressed, guilty, or angry.

You may have been stuck in traffic, worried about your job, or wishing you could play golf instead of mowing the lawn.

But based on experiences, those emotions are the strongest.

They are ignited by other people, probably your spouse, child, parent, friend, neighbor, or coworker.

We are social creatures and what others do affects us.

It affects our emotions and emotions are drivers of our health.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of TURMERIC. It’s amazing what and how turmeric can help keep your body healthy?

Turmeric is a bright yellow aromatic powder derived from the rhizome of a plant, which is a member of the ginger family.

Turmeric has long been recognized for its medicinal properties and has gained the interest of both the medical and scientific world, apart from its culinary uses.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a spice used for cooking but has gained immense popularity as one of the most powerful herbs for fighting various diseases.

Turmeric can be found in India and other Southeast Asian countries.

The dried root of the plant is ground to create the distinctive yellow turmeric powder.

There are numerous chemical compounds found in turmeric, named curcuminoids, wherein the active ingredient is curcumin.

Curcumin is the ingredient that gives turmeric many of its vast health benefits.

Turmeric contains more than 100 chemical compounds that contribute to its healing abilities.

Curcumin (diferuloylmethane), a polyphenol, has been shown to target many cells pathway signaling molecules.

At the same time, it manifests activity at the cellular level.

Curcumin has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Other curcuminoids include bisdemethoxycurcumin, and desmethoxycurcumin.
