Learn to be thankful for what you already have, while you pursue all that you want.

Hello followers,

Welcome to the last Monday of January 2023.

As we end the first month of this year, Dan and I have reflected on gratitude and how it can affect our daily health.

When we started blogging several years ago on our experiences with cancer and international treatments that do not have side effects, I did not know that it would lead up to the blessings we all share in each other lives.

Soon another month will come and go, what will you reflect on?

Reminder: last week my notebook was acting up.

So, since we had a warranty; Dan and I took it back to Best Buy for repair.

Well, the problem could have been that by not turning my computer off but keeping it in sleep mode for several days may have been the reason of it not turning back on.

This is quite like our bodies!

Think of, if you where you only took naps which is similar as being on sleep mode for several days, what would that do to your body?

Our bodies are complicated, just like our technology world.

Each organ in our body plays a part of our health in keeping it healthy.

If one organ does not work properly, it can throw your whole life upside down.

One day your fine and the next you are feeling miserable.

Be thankful for the fine days and remember the miserable ones will pass.

Since it is a start of a new week, Dan and I will show you how a gratitude journal can drastically change your life.

Imagine going through daily life filled with all the usual responsibilities and challenges without any sense of relief.

You’d probably have plenty of resentment accumulate in your mind.

What if I tell you there is one simple way to make you happier every day?

Not possible, you say?

It turns out there is, indeed, one simple practice that can make you happier, even when your circumstances remain the same: keeping a gratitude journal.

Tomorrow, Expressing your gratitude-

This new year Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 3; INTUITION/SIX SENSE

SENSORY SYNERGY

Synergy is what happens when lots of things combine together to create something more powerful than any one of them individually.

Synergy is exciting and challenging and is the gateway to creative expression.

It is open to everyone, regardless of age or so-called ability; all of us have the tools, the magnificent five senses that we have been given through our evolution.

Exploring creativity is working with synergy.

It involves the intuition, the small voice inside, which is so often right in what it suggests but usually gets ignored.

Continue tomorrow-

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

January 30th

REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE SMALL and wanted so badly to grow up?

Childhood is filled with milestones; we are measured and tested.

As adults, we tend to put aside a focus on growth and merely adapt to how we see things, believing that our state is permanent.

This morning challenge yourself to see things through the eyes of your younger self.

Remember the hope and possibility you had.

Infuse your day with wonder and see that nothing is permanent, and anything is possible.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Tuesday, sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us directly

on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us.
