Love is a friendship set to music.

Hello followers,

Another Week and a start of a new month begins right now! August is a very special month for Dan and me.

Since we have been on the topic of LOVE, this month is Dan’s and my anniversary. How many of you have anniversary’s this month? Love to hear from you!

The reward of unconditional love to the person who offers it, is simply the pleasure of putting someone else before oneself and making their prosperity and joy be above one’s own.

Many professionals have posted that before one can answer the question, “what does it mean to love someone unconditionally?”

While talking less of the offer of love to another person, one must first practice this unconditional love with oneself.

That is to say, if you as a person appreciate yourself and hold yourself in high esteem as a person who is worthy of love then you will not depend on another person or your significant other to find your self-esteem or self-worth.

This might have you wondering if it is possible to love someone unconditionally in a relationship.

It is indeed possible but also rare because there is a thin line between offering conditional love and receiving immeasurable disrespect and maltreatment.

Love is natural.

When we do not set out of love, it goes against our very nature.

That choice results in emotional, mental, and even physical pain.

Love heals the pain that was caused by its absence.

Always act out of love.

True love can’t be planned or reasoned.

It can only be felt and nourished with more love.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today Dan and I will be continuing to post CHAPTER THREE – WHO IS SCREWED UP?

Jean Henri Fabre, a French naturalist on one of his most noted studies was on processionary caterpillars.

These caterpillars follow their leader through the tree’s, linked head to tail in one great chain; devouring leaves as they march.

Jean placed a group of the insects on the top of a pottery crock. A world of greenery lay within inches of the crock, but the caterpillars; locked into their march, followed blindly, round and round. Until days later the march ended to the death of the insects.

They did not break the pattern even though following the same old, same old, meant death.

You may be locked into a march around screwed-up behaviors just like processionary caterpillars, stuck in the same old ruts and grooves.

If you are, don’t be discouraged.

You aren’t a caterpillar.

Habits and patterns of behavior are not set in concrete, any more than the pattern of the caterpillar’s march was unchangeable.

After all, just by moving the caterpillars, Jean changed their march from the trees to the crock. They marched on, barely missing a step.

Your challenge is not just to change your march’s locations, but to stop the march completely.

Tomorrow Dan and I will be blogging questions that will help you determine if you are marching in the wrong direction in your relationship. Stay tune!

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of ROSEMARY. It’s amazing what and how rosemary can help keep your body healthy?

The immune system and indeed every other system function at its best when they are provided with the right nutrients to keep these systems functioning.

Rosemary is a rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds thus; it may assist the body to boost the functions of the immune system as well as improve the circulation of substances that fight infections around the body.

Some studies show that the anti-oxidants found in Rosemary play an important role in neutralizing the harmful or damaging results that excessive free radicals cause in the human body and improve the immunity of the body to pathogenic microbes. In turn, the health of the body is preserved much more efficiently than hoping it carries out its mandate on its own.

This week we will be focusing on the benefits of ROSEMARY –

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

Yesterday Dan and I💐 decided to go grocery shopping, but before we do that; it was time for a walk. Walked in and outside of the neighborhood mall. Almost made two miles before stopping🛑 to do some grocery shopping.

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Unconditional Friendliness and Self Love / Mindfulness Meditation / Mindful Movement

In a world where anger, hatred, and criticism are easy to come by, all you have to do is turn on the news. Why not choose kindness and compassion towards yourself?

Unconditional friendliness and love for yourself can help you feel calm and safe as well as keep your stress levels down.

Today, practice compassion and friendliness for yourself during your meditation so it will carry over into all the activities of your day. We have the choice, so choose kindness.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
