Hello Followers,


The week-end is on its way!


Yesterday, Dan and I were exploring Virginia with our friends from Arizona.

First stop was experiencing The Natural Bridge.


This was a unique collection of natural wonder framed by the beautiful backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.


We walked under Virginia's immense Natural Bridge, which is a National Historic Landmark shaped over hundreds of years from twenty stories of solid limestone rock.

In aw, a breathtaking serene nature trail took us through the great stone archway and alongside the Cedar Creek.


We traveled back in time to the Monacan Village, just past the Natural Bridge, and then continued our journey down to Lace Falls.


This was once owned by Thomas Jefferson, surveyed by a young George Washington, and traversed by Civil War soldiers.

Then we decided to check out some historical events in the town of Lexington.


This is where Stonewall Jackson lived for his last two years.


The house was built in 1842, for Washington College, by its president Henry Ruffner.


The house history had a lot of interesting facts.


Thomas J. Stonewall Jackson married President George Junkin’s daughter Elinor here in 1853, the couple lived for a time in the north wing.


Elinor’s sister, Margaret a noted Civil War poetess and also lived there.


When General Lee accepted the presidency of the college in 1865, he and his family moved into the house until the Lee house was latter built.


From the house we went to where Stonewall Jackson was laid to rest along through a period of a century other members of his family were also buried.

Nevertheless, Dan and I will be going back to this town; for there is so much more to explore.

Until then, I will be moving on today with another important health ingredient to keep you healthy.

Self-worth is simply defined as the level of importance you place on yourself


It is an emotional outlook that determines how and what you feel about yourself in comparison to other people.


Self-worth is a fundamental part of our being, and it controls the way we see ourselves.


Everything we think about, all the emotions we feel, and even the way we act is a product of what value we place on ourselves by ourselves.

ITS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

AWARENESS


This month of October was labeled for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.


There are walks and items for sale that have pink ribbons on them, all to raise money for a cure for breast cancer.


I was labeled a breast cancer patient in 2010.

For me it was not finding a cure, but how did it happen in the first place and how can I take care of it so it doesn’t happen again.

DNA is only 5% to 10%!

For almost eight years, I have been researching and learning how to take care of the root cause of why and changing my patterns so I can keep healthy from all the major diseases that we have labeled ourselves with.


First, I decided not to have surgery.


What would that accomplish, just a part removed from my body.


The masses were not blocking anything and I was functioning alright.

Second, I did not have chemotherapy.


Why would I put another chemical in my body for this may have been the one reason why this even happened?


Third, I did not have radiation. Again, why would I put radiation in my body, when we read all the time radiation causes cancer.

For, me I decided to do less invasive procedures to take care of the cancer and to begin healing.



I learned the why and cause (the root) and no chemo pill will do that.

We need to look at the whole picture and take a look at our lifestyle and the environment.


There are so much that we can do to stay away from the chemicals in our foods, products we wear and managing stress and keeping healthy by moving around more.

Yes, because our food these days with the lack of good soil, I take supplements and nutrition products to give me what my body needs.


So, with a chemo pill you are putting chemicals in you at the same time it is killing not just the bad cells, but the good ones.


Plus, it is causing other side effects.


Radiation, causes side effects.


I for the past seven- and one-half years, when this time rolls around for walks and labeling for Breast Cancer Month, I try to educate others.

That it’s our environment and our lifestyle that we need to put our money into, this is the root.


The best cure is really changing your lifestyle.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

Whom you choose to spend the most time, thoughts, and effort on depends exactly on how much you like yourself.

Just by staying near people who treat you poorly, you are telling them it’s okay to do so.


Keep close to you only the people who treat you well.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

CHAPTER 8; HANDLING FRAZZLED EMOTIONS.

Continue on FACING REALITY!


Frayed emotions are activated by triggers from a past indiscretion, a current problem, a long-ago hurt, or a major injustice.


These emotions may hang on the shirttail of the current emotions and bolster their intensity when conflict arises.


They popcorn, hitting you again and again; from every direction.

Love exploring my home state VA ( for 2 1/2 yrs). Yesterday we walked and explored the Natural Bridge and Stonewall Jackson home.

As you know, I go wild with taking pictures of my adventures so, here they come enjoy.


I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!
