The proper use of science is not to conquer nature but to live in it.

Hello Monday,

The first word that comes to my mind this morning is ENVIRONMENT. Several months ago, I blogged a series on pollution. We must all take part in the idea that a lot of our illnesses are due to this issue. Dan and I were amazed in all the different aliments that we have been facing with a polluted world.

Nature has provided a bounty of philosophical insight for centuries, always offering a moment to reflect. The flora and fauna connect us all and give us a common ground on which to communicate.

I wrote an article on October 8, 2015 regarding how important our environment is to a healthy clean life. I once had a wise man say; you cannot help what is out in the world, but you can take care of what is in your home. I took that to heart and this is why I am so passionate about educating others how important our water, food, products we use and our well being is.

The best way to stop any chronic disease is awareness and the first step to stop it is prevention. Our environment plays a big part when it comes to illness, so we need to look at it and educate our minds for change.

Life of a 🐢. Heckle taking an easy, sunbathing in the sun 🌞 #sunbathıng#heckle#turtle

Five years ago, I bought Heckle our turtle, and when we returned to the states, I thought should I take him with us or will he be better staying in Mexico. I took him to a vet to see if he would be alright to travel the distance. Dan and I also considered how we were going to transport him to the states. The best situation was to drive across the border. He was part of the family so we couldn’t leave him behind, after all.

OCTOBER 8, 2015

For example, seven months ago, I bought Heckle my turtle from this pet store in Chapala, Mexico. The attendant told me that Heckle will only last up to five months and gave me this little bowl for his living quarters. Certainly, these turtles last longer; so, I did some research and they will live up to seventy-five years. It’s the environment ~ where they live and how they live that makes a big difference.

Heckle loves to get scratched just like a dog. He comes when called. Who would of ever thought ❓#turtle #heckle #pet

Heckle stretching out enjoying the day in the sun 🌞#heckle#sun#stretching

In small area’s they do not get enough exercise and it creates stress which causes short term life.

It’s all about quality of life! I am going to prove that my turtle will last much longer with the bigger tank and love. I put a little dish in the tank with lettuce, this was intended for him to eat; however, every night when Dan and I turn off his overhead light for the tank he crawls inside and pulls the lettuce over him. This is much like we do when we sleep.

Our life is much like Heckle’s, our environment such as the foods we eat, the water we drink, products we use, the area we live in ~ chemicals in the air, lack of exercise are all issues that causes stress.

We cannot change the outside surroundings of our homes and lives, but we can change what we do within them.

Since Heckle has been in the states; now 8 months, I have provided a playground for him to walk around and exercise. I added things for him to crawl around and go up and down. I bought a small swimming pool for him to walk around and explore during the day and at night in the tank with a heater. I have his tank near the sliding glass door for the sun comes in and he loves to look out.

Even turtles have struggles too. why is Heckle taken the hard way↩️ #turtles#struggles#heckle

This is what we need in a way, the sun shining on our everyday life’s and to live a clean healthy life.

But the grim reality is that we are continuously destroying the environment with our own hands and we are responsible behind the fading of the beauty of it. So, take care about your environment.

Thomas Edison: "Until a man duplicates a blade of grass, nature can laugh at his so-called scientific knowledge. Remedies from chemicals will never stand in favorable comparison with the products of nature, the living cell of a plant, the final result of the rays of the sun, the mother of all life."

Today I’ll be blogging on this metabolic lab work for cancer. We all get routine blood work and test to determine results to see if we may have cancer. While we were walking around the venders, this one stood out; Cancer Profile©

Cancer may be the number one killer disease of Americans. More than 300,000 men and 300,000 women die each year of it and the numbers seem to increase steadily. Unfortunately, our healing arts specialists are lacking effective tools and weapons to successfully combat the cancer disease.

It seems that established traditional methods of changing the favors of medications, radiation therapy, presently available immune therapies and surgery are lacking the desired curative results.

Cancer Stem Cells appear to survive radiation and chemo therapies. Five years survival post diagnosis is not what one must aim for. Nontoxic medicine, however; has been more successful.

Dr. Schandl has been encouraging patients, saying whatever else your therapy may be; always consider a nontoxic metabolic approach.

Established traditional diagnostic methods does not always necessarily show developing cancer early enough to considerably contribute to extending life. Palpation, X-ray, CT, MRI, PAP smear, mammogram, biopsies and conventional markers may only reveal the presence of cancer when it is already in place.

Consider the fact that it may take 10-12 years for a cancer to signal its visible presence. Naturally, the key to prevention and successful therapy is detection prior to the traditional, established methods.

Cancer Profile© does just that, after some 30 years of development with the addition of the ultra-sensitive Quantitative Urine HCG test; (TK1), it may be the best available method for forecasting and monitoring malignancies.

Cancer Profile© (CA Profile©) panel, is based on the premise that detectable biochemical changes occur in the human body during its transformation into a cancerous state.

The panel has detected cancer activity with at least 1 positive marker 87 to 97 percent of the time.

It’s been trusted and recognized by thousands of doctors and patients since the early 1980s.

Good morning 🌳 Monday 🌄 progress is impossible without change and those who cannot change their ________. Fill in the blank. Enjoy and start the beginning of the week with a smash.#inspiration#movingon#motivation

Dr. Schandl developed his battery of tests after a great deal of reading, testing and experimentation at the Howard Hughes Research Institute in Miami and at local hospitals in South Florida. He observed marker elevations in patients as many as 10 to 12 years prior to diagnosis.

Knowing that the developmental process of cancer takes 10 to 12 years, one may be able to detect the very beginning of cancer, allowing plenty of time to make lifestyle adjustment corrections in order to avoid possibly catastrophic consequences. It should be noted that the CA Profile© is excellent not only for early detection, but also clinical laboratory follow-up and monitoring disease reduction or progression.

The Cancer Profile© is based on the premise that detectable biochemical changes occur in the human body during its transformation into a cancerous state. It is composed of 7 tests: HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) chemiluminescence assay serum and HCG urine quantitative tests (American Metabolic Laboratories is the one and only clinical laboratory performing quantitative analysis for urine in the entire world). The PHI (phosphohexose isomerase enzyme); CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen); GGTP (gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase); TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone); and DHEA-S (dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate).

Numerous studies have confirmed that HCG levels are elevated in the presence of cancer cells in the body, a caveat in using HCG alone as a tumor marker is that it may be present in super-low quantities that cannot be detected, even by existing technology. Therefore, the Cancer Profile© includes other tumor markers as well. In other words, what one test may miss, the other(s) will usually detect.

Consider the fact that testing for HCG alone can result in approximately 30% false negative results.

The entire Cancer Profile© may miss only 10-15% cancer positive patients. Neither the HCG Urine nor serum alone or together is sufficient to detect or follow a cancer disease process.

In a study reported in 1987, the tumor marker CEA proved to be sensitive in cases of metastasized bone cancer, while PHI was elevated in cancers of other organs. However, when CEA and PHI were combined, overall sensitivity was increased considerably.

The uniqueness of the CA Profile© for cancer detection and cancer prevention is that it combines a number of tests which, by themselves, might not be indicative enough, but together provide an impressive level of accuracy and precision.

Studies have shown that, when testing patients who were known to have cancer, 68 percent showed elevated HCG levels. When the measurement was for the enzyme PHI, 80+ percent was detected. GGTP was elevated in 39 percent, and CEA was positive in 51 percent.

When combining specific tests and using more refined technology, the amazing Cancer Profile© produced more persuasive percentages; this panel has an impressive accuracy of 87-97%.

Looking at three cancer markers together (HCG, PHI, CEA), 221 positives in 240 breast cancer patients (92 percent) were detected. Of lung cancer patients, 127 of 129 (97 percent) were correctly diagnosed. And with colon cancer patients, 55 positives out of 59 patients (93 percent) were correctly identified.

Also included in the profile are the DHEA-S, TSH, and GGTP tests. These are peripherally related to cancer. The rationale is that people with either low thyroid activity, low adrenal activity, or abnormal GGTP results seem to be predisposed to cancer.

The Cancer Profile© gives early warning signs, but it also can be used as a cancer marker test to monitor established, existing cancers. Retesting can demonstrate whether treatment regimens are working, and how they can be adjusted. The tests also are important to establish a benchmark prior to surgery. With a retest later, one can determine the surgery's success in removing the tumor.

This also is borne out by research. For example, a study in the Journal of Tumor Marker Oncology (Luthgens M., et al., 1992, 7 [3]: 44) reports that men who had had their diseased prostates removed had distinctly lower levels of both PSA and HCG, compared with those patients with tumors remaining. Clearly, lower levels of these markers indicate a procedure's effectiveness.

The markers may also serve as a warning signal of the prospect for renewed problems. A Japanese study reported in 1992 that a fragment of beta HCG, elevated in patients with cervical cancer, showed decreased levels in 24 out of 28 patients following successful treatment. However, of the other patients whose HCG levels remained high, half subsequently relapsed. [Kinugasa, M., et al., Nippon Sanka Fujinka Gakkai Zasshi, Feb., 1992, 44(2): 188-94].

The regimen may be clear: Doctors don't have to "watch and wait" for signs of a relapse when an accurate determiner such as tumor marker levels can predict success or failure, or the need for medical intervention.
