Thinking, this Thursday! I remember, going back eleven years ago; when I started the journey in Mexico with my cancer treatments.
A wise man, my doctor; Dr. Garcia, told me that you can’t change the environment around you. But you can change the environment in your home.
In truth, the environment does play a role in changing your circumstances, but it doesn’t address the root of the cause (your thinking) that is the driver behind why you feel the way you do.
Here’s what you need to realize; if you want to change the outside, you must first change the inside.
You must change the attention of your thoughts because what you think directly influences how you feel, and how you feel directly influences how your body reacts, and how your body reactions directly influence how you behave, and how you behave comes to define who you are and what you experience in life.

It all begins with your thoughts, our life experiences spring from the thoughts we actively engage in; you are what you think.
And to comprehend the essence of this statement, you first need to understand the link between your thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
How many are you out there are left-handers?
I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

Actually, it was the Romans who made up all the rules against left-handers.
They were the most militantly right-handed people in history.
Romans invented the right-handed handshake.
They invented the fascist salute and that left to right alphabet that still causes a lot of trouble.

In fact, you’ll have no reason to even explore other possibilities because there would seem to be no point.
When you believe in better, brighter, more amazing possibilities; they begin to open up in front of you.
Not all right away, not often the way you planned, but the path of discovery will exist only when you believe it does.
And belief is always a choice.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.
Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

MEETING OUR OWN NEEDS.
People become confused and angry when they figure someone else should fill their needs and it doesn’t happen.
Relationships with screwed-up people would be hopeless if we expected all of our fulfillment to come from them.
We know that you can understand why someone does or doesn’t do something and still be driven crazy by their actions.
We also recognize that even if someone meets every criterion, we have to feel wonderful, we can still feel like the pits inside.
No one can fill your needs sufficiently, except you.
Each of us is about as happy as we decide to be.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!
Wednesdays walk, in Green Hill Park. Love the walk path, very shady and a mini beach area. This is perfect when Danielle, Justin and Jonah comes visit. There's also a great playground too, with area's to throw balls.
Spent some time in the picnic area and had a snack after our walk.
Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!
