Unconditional Love Is the Greatest Gift of All

Another Tuesday staying at home and going on our 43rd day.

We have been taking advantage of taking part in this free summit on The Food Revolution. You never not learn enough, every time we listen to a seminar or a summit there is always something new to be learned. I highly recommend while you have some free time in this uncertain situation to watch something to better your health.

Like I mentioned in yesterday’s blog, I found these cards that look like player cards with sayings and quotes about love. I used my creativity and during our spiritual time shuffle them and Dan picks one, then reads it. I thought of sharing each one with you and put it in one of my inspiration mini video’s.

Today, I'm starting a new series on Unconditional Love ❤️. Creating Mini videos for your enjoyment. During these uncertain days, we need love more than ever. Hugs to all💌🏩💌

During uncertain times, knowing that you are loved and sharing love with others give me the greatest gift of all.

The term unconditional love does not mean love without limits or bounds. It means, "I offer you my love freely without condition." This means that when we offer our love, we offer it without expectation of repayment. It is important to offer this type of unconditional love in our relationships. Otherwise, we are offering love with "strings attached." This creates power and control imbalances.

When deciding to write this topic on the blog, I first remembered a Christmas book that I gave my sisters. I created this book with this:

What is unconditional love? It is said best in the Bible under St. Paul.

Love is patient and kind, never jealous.

Love is humble, never rude or selfish.

Love delights in truth, never takes pleasure in other people’s pain.

Love is always ready to excuse, trust, hope and endures.

Love does not come to an end.

I, from a small child have experienced unconditional love with my sisters. We do not share the same ideas or wants in life; however, we are always there in time of need or pleasure. For we do share LOVE an important word that everyone lives by.

My sisters and I grew up with morals and respect for others. We were taught manners and used these skills daily. For love comes from a place of strength. Love is rooted from God and is a natural expression of one’s self. Through the love of God, this world was created. Through God’s creation love was made. Everything around us is a part of his unconditional love to us.

Where is love? Love is in all of us spiritually, we just need to pull it out within each and every one of us. Open your hearts and fill it with understanding of the eight important values in life.

RESPECT

This is caring about the rights of others and thinking about another person in a positive way. Treating others, the way we want to be treated and admiring another person for their good traits.

HONESTY

This is being able to be trusted by others and caring enough to do the right thing. Caring about the right of others and being respectable. Truthful is sharing their thoughts with others.

FAIRNESS

This is going beyond the rules to consider what is best for all. This is believing that the needs of others are worth considering and being able to put yourself in someone else’s place. Listening to others and believing their opinion and overcoming selfishness and caring about the welfare of others.

RESPONSIBILITY

This is behaving so that one can be trusted and being helpful to others. It means a way of responding with full knowledge and thinking about the outcomes and impact of one’s actions before taking action.

COMPASSION

This is seeing others needs and giving to others. It means being able to put yourself in the role of another.

PEACEMAKER

This is accepting the shortcomings. Faults and differences of others. It is working to reconcile differences between yourself and others and letting go of hurts and moving on.

COURTESY

This is being aware of the feelings of others and using manners to smooth social interactions. It means being polite and enjoying being civil to one another.

HELPFULNESS

This is giving without asking anything in return and being able to care about a person being helped and wanting to please them. It means thinking about the needs of others.

With these eight values, love will grow and blossom in your heart. For, I believe this is why my sisters and I have the unconditional love that is shared and will never die.

There is a saying; a cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed. It feels within moments, this is the place to go. But the sky knows the reason and the patterns behind all clouds. You will know love too when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond the horizon. This is not a teaching process; we all were born this feature.
