Words may show a man's wit, but actions his meaning.

Hello Followers,

Yesterday as Dan and I was walking at one of our favorite parks, I was daydreaming of the time we lived in Mexico.

It’s been two years as of June that we landed in the Virginia area and then I was approached by a big dog. It startled me and I pulled back, my thought escaped me and I woke up from daydreaming.

That night I get a message from a couple that we met while living in Mexico, asking how we were doing and if I missed Mexico. What a coincidence! My daydreaming that day of reminiscing of the good times, created energy from the universe to our friends.

The word missed, was used in my thought and in the message, I received yesterday that inspired me to start this blog off.

Words have the power to discourage, humiliate, and hurt us but can also encourage, heal, inspire, and transform us.

Being mindful of our words and their sometimes-lasting effect on others is one of the kindnesses acts we can do for each another.

Embracing positive social support makes a difference to your health!

Change your thoughts. Change your life.

Play along for a moment and allow yourself to take in a long conscious breath.

Feel how the air moves through your body as you inhale and exhale.

Now take another full deep breath.

And another.

One more.

How do you feel? Did time slow down a little? Did you enjoy a brief moment of peace? Or did you not play along at all, anxious to move on to the next thing?

If only we lived breath by breath instead of task-by-task! Our “to-do” lists will never be empty, so we must schedule time in our day to reconnect with ourselves. We act like finding time to meditate is beyond our control. It isn’t. And the results are worth it!

Spending a moment in meditation each morning is one of the best things you can do for your health and well-being. Even if only for ten minutes, it is an investment of time you’ll never regret.

By starting your day on the right track, it makes it that much easier to get yourself back on track whenever life goes off the rails.

No matter your struggle, success always begins with a positive frame of mind.

Perspective is everything.

If you look for only positives, you will see only positives and be blind to negatives that may hurt you later.

If you look only for negatives, you will find only them and be blind to positives you may love.

Only when you look, just look; can you see things as they really are.

Only when you clearly see both positives and negatives can you accurately decide if this certain experience is one you want in your life or not.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today’s post will continue on – CHAPTER FOUR, GET OFF THE FENCE; MAKING THE CHOICE!

Sometimes quitting is the only way to not quit.

Happiness depends on your making an informed choice and accepting the responsibility for that choice.

That one step, recognizing who manages your course, is the beginning of learning to be happy; inside regardless of the outside circumstances.

Staying in a relationship unhappy and bitter or leaving and clinging to the injustices are both poor course management.

Sometimes the choice about your relationship is made for you by death, divorce, or physical abuse.

But you still have a choice; will you be happy inside, regardless of the outside circumstances?

You can be, if you find ways to appreciate what you have, rather than wishing for what you don’t have.

Resenting what is or should have been does no one any good.

Happiness and success boil down to course management and mental toughness. This means recognizing that every path has its own pluses and minuses.

Tomorrow’s post will be when leaving is not optional. Until then, stay tune.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of ROSEMARY. It’s amazing what and how rosemary can help keep your body healthy?

Rosemary promotes respiratory function.

Rosemary, when used regularly can actively protect the lungs by preventing fluid accumulation and help to remove phlegm and excess mucus that block the respiratory tract.

This essential oil may also provide relief from congestion and allergies, and can be useful to asthmatics who find triggers in common allergens such as dust, pollen and volatile odors.

Who’s ready for ROSEMARY recipe! Tomorrow I will be posting an easy recipe; THE PERFECT CUP OF ROSEMARY TEA.

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

Our daily walk today, love being among nature. 🏞️

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

10 Minute Meditation with A Positive Message for You

A 10-minute guided meditation with a positive message.

You are born anew in every moment.

We can choose to let the past dictate our future, or write our own new destiny moment to moment.

In this positive message meditation, you'll feel the power in trusting your own path as well as your heart. Enjoy!

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

Words may show a man's wit, but actions his meaning.

Until Friday, words do two major things; they provide food for the mind and create light for understanding and awareness.
