Give the ones you love wings to fly, roots to come back, and reasons to stay.

Hello followers,

Welcome to Tuesday,

Today is my mom’s birthday and she turns eighty-eight.

Let us all wish her a Happy Birthday!

So, today I am dedicating this post to her.

Mother, that one word that cannot be defined in a single phrase.

That one word that embodies all the love a human being could possibly offer.

A mother is not just someone who gave birth to a child.

If you ask me, a mother represents the combination of feelings, behaviors and sacrifices that occur while raising a child, whether the child is biologically hers or not.

A mother is the only woman in the world that will constantly forgive your lies, no matter how big they are.

She will still give you that warm smile just minutes after you misbehaved and made her angry as hell.

A mother will endure the pain caused when you reject her and her kisses because you are too cool to be seen with her when you meet your friends.

She will be the only one supporting and lifting your spirit up whenever you are feeling down.

Mothers leave all their personal needs behind so their children can have everything they need.

They will not sleep or eat until you come home, and they know you are safe and sound.

Mothers will protect their children with the price of their own lives.

A mother will do all these things with unconditional love, and she won’t stop just because you are sixty-five years old and live in another country or state.

Mom, it is not every day that I have taken the time to let you know how grateful Dan and I are for everything you have done for us.

Maybe we have believed that was just your duty and we do not even think to thank you, but today publicly I am announcing how much I appreciate you.

Love you.

Well, are you ready for another ten- minute meditation!

This ten-minute meditation makes the perfect morning meditation to be present and bring positive energy to your day.

Last week we had started blogging on how to nourish your soul.

Dan and I posted some ways which were practicing mindfulness, eating clean, moving your body, getting out into nature, laughing, and detoxing from technology.

Today we will be blogging on, practicing acts of kindness.

Finding ways to give back or be kind to others is a great way to nourish your soul.

According to David Fryburg, M.D.; here is the secret sauce.

Kindness works its magic because it creates or strengthens connections between living beings.

When we truly understand that we are connected to one another, we give more freely, we treat each other with respect, we act with integrity, and we trust one another.

This is truly true.

Kindness is essential to unconditional love, and it’s the glue that helps connect us to each other and can help us feel fulfilled, meaningful, and peaceful on a spiritual level!

Today let us find ways to be kind to the people in your life as well as random acts of kindness to nourish your soul.

As Dan and I have been sharing and continuing the book from last week, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 3; INTUITION/SIX SENSE

SENSORY CREATIVITY

CREATIVE SIGHT-

Continuing from yesterday, you will need equipment!

The best place to get it is a children’s shop where paints and paper in different colors and sizes will be readily available.

Get brightly colored paints and a large brush that feels comfortable to hold in your hand.

Also, get the biggest size of paper you can.

We are going for space!

You can always pretend you are buying for a niece, nephew, grandson, or granddaughter.

But you will know you are buying them for yourself, and that can be a source of fun!

It is good to paint on a large, flat surface like a kitchen table; instead of sitting down.

Try standing up so you are looking down at your paper from a different angle.

Put on some vibrant music to encourage you and try the exercises in the next two days postings.

Are you ready!

Tomorrow, FUN WITH PAINT-COLOR SWIRLS

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

February 7th

GOING AFTER WHAT YOU WANT is an opportunity to honor your soul and act toward fulfillment.

If you have a desire in your heart, you have the choice to do what it takes to make it happen.

When you decide to go after a dream, be prepared for the work it takes to make it come true.

It will be all worth it in the end.

Welcome the hard work it takes for your life to change.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Wednesday, we can never obtain peace in the outer world

until we make peace with ourselves.

UNTIL TOMORROW
