I believe the ultimate source of blessings is within us.

Hello followers,

HAPPY WEEKEND!

Well, it is finally here, Saturday.

Today is a good place for appreciating your inner stillness and connection to oneness with all.

One of the best ways to increase your gratitude is by practicing meditation.

When you meditate, you are not only focusing on the present moment, but also on what you are grateful for.

Meditation can help people feel more positive and grateful about their lives.

It can also help people cope with difficult situations, such as work or school stress.

When you meditate, there is no need to be perfect or have a certain goal in mind.

Instead, it is important to focus on your breathing and allow thoughts to come and go without judgment.

This ten-minute gratitude guided meditation guides you to a place of appreciating your inner stillness and connection to oneness with all.

Dan and I posted some ways which were practicing mindfulness, eating clean, moving your body, getting out into nature, laughing, detoxing from technology, practicing acts of kindness, and listening to relaxing music, connect with a friend, sleep in.

Today is a great opportunity to read a good book.

Reading happens to be one of those things that helps us connect to the stories of other.

Reading Partners says, studies show that reading can help kids build developmental skills of emotional intelligence and empathy, enabling our young readers to better connect with other perspectives and human experiences.

And although kids’ brains are more malleable than adults’, it can certainly help us too!

Reading is more beneficial for us than watching TV or another activity in which we’re taking in a story.

Reading is an active activity rather than passive, like watching a TV show.

And studies show that reading reduces our stress, promotes imagination, and helps us sleep better.

As Dan and I have been sharing and continuing the book from last week, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 3; INTUITION/SIX SENSE

SENSORY CREATIVITY

CREATIVE TASTE-

Taste is also enhanced through the pleasure of sharing food.

Many people live alone and tend to eat with the TV because instinctively we want company.

Humans spent millennia hunting, gathering, cooking, and sharing food communally.

Dining alone is a modern trend, not just for single people.

Lifestyle demands may make eating together impractical on a daily basis.

However, with a little effort and organization, meals can be prepared and shared, and the experience becomes much more positive.

Continue tomorrow-

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

February 11th

THROUGH PERSISTENCE, we step into our greatness.

It takes hard work, dedication, and practice to embrace our fullest potential.

We need times of rest and compassion throughout this process.

Do not perfectionism take over.

Give yourself compassion when things do not go as planned.

Rest when you find yourself feeling burned out.

You are meant for great things and each step you take brings you closer to your potential.

Acknowledge all the work you have done with pride.

Give yourself credit for all you have done.

You are amazing!

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Sunday, human potential is the same for all. Your feeling, “I am of no value,” is wrong. Absolutely wrong. You are deceiving yourself. We all have the power of thought so what are you lacking? If you have willpower, then you can change anything.

It is usually said that you are your own master.
