CONTINUING ON THE SERIES OF FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN AND THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello followers,

Its finely the Father’s Day weekend! Believe that the voices of fear, both from without and within, can only be dispelled by trusting the voice that comes from the heart.

Be still and listen to it. If it speaks of love and compassion for others, for the world itself, it just might be the voice of God. Dan and I am not afraid of tomorrow, for we have seen yesterday and we love today.

We are here, on earth, to evolve; that’s why it’s called “human evolution.

So why aren’t you growing? Or, should I say are you growing!

If you’re not growing maybe, it’s because you refuse to get uncomfortable. Or you’re not growing because you refuse to engage in new experiences. Perhaps you’re stagnant, way too deep into your comfort zone. Maybe you’re not growing because every shackle clung onto your comfort (to try and ‘keep you safe’) continues to hold you back. And thus, you’ve rendered yourself incapable of change.

Here’s what you need to realize if you are not growing. Almost everything you need to achieve your goals requires new skills, habits, knowledge, and experiences. To go from where you are to where you want to be, you must do things you’ve never done before. You must be willing to get uncomfortable because discomfort is the only path to growth. There is no other way.

Both Dan and I have been out of our comfort zone, which we have shared the experience with you through this blog.

The truth is that to really ascend, rise above your former self, and completely change your life, you have to not only be okay with discomfort, you have to fall in love with the journey it bears with it.

Discomfort isn’t a moment in time, it’s a passage in time. It’s a way of living—of continuously working through tension points to release their grip on you rather than shying away from the tension itself.

In short; growth demands a new you. I’ve been on the other side of fear and through it all, I have learned from it and here to share the experience and knowledge.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

INTUITION

One incredibly important thing to always remember about intuition is the tie between intuition and energy.

There are only two methods of action; destruction and construction.

Intuition will never, ever, be a feeling, a thought, a sign, or anything toward a destruction behavior.

Destruction behavior includes the following; forcing, controlling, restricting, stalking, harming, holding a person against their will and killing. These are all fear-based actions that fall under the false belief that if a person is in some way controlled or gotten rid of, then somehow things will be better.

Will this ever apply to you? I hope not! But in the news media, some of the most heinous and violent crimes against children, organizations, or entire cultures are committed with the belief of the offender that God told them to do it and that the world would be better if they did. Even John Wilkes Booth thought his assassination of Abraham Lincoln would be considered a heroic act.

If you or anyone you know ever indicates that some kind of voice is telling you or them that a group of people is evil or must be stopped or expresses a hatred that sets off your inner alarm belt, don’t wait until energy is added to that and it grows. Don’t pass it off or think they are joking.

So many tragedies could have been prevented if only warning signs were not ignored. If it turns out they were joking or you were overreacting or got them into trouble for no reason, those are much lesser offenses than letting something awful happen that cannot ever be repaired.

CHOOSE JOMO TOGETHER

Chances are your closest buddies will have a similar temperament to you and will also be experiencing same social overload thanks to their own fear of missing out.

Discuss your plans and tactics with them. Not only will it help them understand your new pattern of behavior, but you might also inspire them to jump on board and start experiencing the joy of missing out.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

Continuing blogging on the herb - PARSLEY. Parsley can be used in many different ways to support almost every aspect of your health. Yesterday the topic ended with how parsley prevents breast cancer and protects our blood vessels? Today I’m going to blog on how parsley improves kidney health and how it can benefit heart health?

First let’s see how parsley improves kidney health, kidneys are continuously working to remove excess water and filter up to your blood.

However, when your urine becomes a bit concentrated, mineral deposits may form which can lead to severe diseases like kidney stones.

When researchers conducted a study on rats with kidney stones, they noticed that those rats that had been treated with parsley underwent lower urinary protein and calcium excretion, and the treated rats also had elevated urination and urinary pH than the untreated rats.

Not only that, but parsley also helps your kidneys by keeping them healthy through decreasing elevator blood pressure, which can contribute to various kidney diseases if not addressed.

Parsley is rich in nitrates that actually work in dilating your blood vessels. It ends up improving your blood flow and also lowering elevated blood pressure levels.

Research shows that foods rich in nitrate can help in balancing blood pressure levels.

Second way that parsley can improve your life that I’m going to blog on is how it can benefit heart health! Bad heart health can lead to chronic diseases that mostly have expensive treatments.

It’s best to take care of your heart health before it may get in danger due to bad diet factors.

As for heart conditions such as strokes and heart attacks, they are one of the most common causes of death throughout the world. A diet that is unhealthy, smoking, high alcohol consumption, and even a lazy lifestyle can lead to chronic heart diseases.

I wish, Dan and I would have known about heart health way back when Dan had his heart attack twelve years ago. We’ve learned so much knowledge, even though Dan has eight stents; we now know how to prevent any other damage. The issue that we are facing now is maintaining his stents. I bet you don’t know that, yes, they have a manufactures expiration time period.

Most stents last up to ten years. So, this is the issue that we will be facing in the future.

However, parsley has plant compounds such as carotenoid antioxidants that have been proven to help in benefiting heart health by bringing down the risk of such heart conditions.

Foods with carotenoid antioxidants within them protect your heart from getting symptoms of heart disease. They keep you healthy and away from elevator blood pressure, bad cholesterol levels, and even chronic inflammation.

Population studies have shown that including carotenoids in your diet reduces the risk of getting conditions like coronary artery disease.

NEW SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

DAY AT THE PARK MUSEUM IN MEXICO CITY • Nov 2, 2015

Enjoy the video.

Well, we finely made it back to the park and it was open. The first stop was the museum. I tried to capture in my pictures the professional work, but you would have to go in person to get the effect of the artists.

Museo de Arte Moderno (Modern Art Museum)

The Modern Art Museum contains one of the largest collections of twentieth-century Mexican art while consisting of around 3000 pieces including paintings, sculpture, photography and drawings.

Some outstanding pieces in its permanent collection include works by José María Velasco, Orozco, Siqueiros, Frida Khalo, Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington and Rufino Tamayo. There is a permanent exhibit of contemporary sculptures in the garden.

The photo artist that stood out the most for Dan was Lee Miller for she was born in the same town as he was, Poughkeepsie ~ New York. She moved to Europe when she was very young.

There was so many more to see at the park, however we would not be able to see everything we would have liked to see. Someday we will have to go back and explore the park some more.

Off to the castle, this would be our final site to see for the day.

So many pictures taken that I had to split the park up into two movies.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

Wow, yesterday’s walk - three miles in the heat of 91F here in Roanoke Virginia. Reminded Dan and I of Florida.

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation . Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Let Go & Relax 10 Min Guided Meditation

Getting upset about pain doesn’t take it away. Thinking about and replaying the past doesn’t give you the ability to change what has already occurred. Worrying, wishing and hoping things were different doesn’t make anything actually change. Let go of the events of the day and surrender into a deep, tranquil sleep. Give yourself permission to simply let go into your own inner peace and self-healing through acceptance and surrender.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

What do you want to let go of? What has become too heavy a weight to bear on your journey?

Like the falling leaves, it’s time to clear out and free yourself of things you’ve been afraid to let go of. Without the falling of the leaves, there can be no new growth.

We can learn from our faults and grow from our experiences if we allow them. Know that without suffering, we cannot know joy. Without darkness, we cannot know light. Allowing life as it is can lessen any struggle and perhaps, additional, unnecessary suffering.

Frequently, the word “surrender” has negative energy to it. You may think of having to give up something that is important to you or lose control over a situation. Surrender does not mean giving up. When the word surrender is used as a mindfulness practice, it can also be the opportunity to give up anything that is no longer serving you or something that is keeping you stuck.

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

STEP FORWARD

Step forward into the unknown, and assume it will be brilliant.

Until Sunday, one is never afraid of the unknown; one is afraid of the known coming to an end. Faith is a place of mystery, where we find the courage to believe in what we cannot see and the strength to let go of our fear of uncertainty.
