Colors fade, temples crumble, empires fall, but wise words endure.

CONTINUING ON THE SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

Monday mornings always seem to be here all too soon.

Just when you are getting used to the weekend, Whoosh; it's already flown by. And all too soon!

It's Monday the dread day. But no matter how much we moan or groan, there is no escaping the

M days.

Why is it that we hate getting up on Mondays? Love to hear your response!!

How many out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

Left-handers have much more enthusiasm for life.

They sleep on the wrong side of the bed, and their heads become stagnant on that side.

In a future post, I’m going to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

Last week Dan and I started a series on words and thoughts. I’m going throw in a twist with sharing the Importance of keeping your word to others and yourself that can affect your and others health.

There are a number of ways we measure a person’s worth or our own worth.

Perhaps none other evokes as much emotion as “keeping your word.”

Words hold immense power and emotion for us.

In the right/wrong hand, they can start or squash a war!

They can win the hearts and minds of people to a cause, or send somebody crashing to the depths of despair.

We use words to describe physical ‘things’ we can both see and touch.

The physical world you now see at one time didn’t have labels, but people like you and me began to label these “things” to communicate.

Somebody had ideas and thoughts around the “things” and called them by sounds to begin simple language to share and to communicate.

Someone thought about a "thing", words were spoken, and eventually items, buildings, cities, were built.

Now that’s some pretty powerful stuff!

And it all came about by the power of words.

But words are not only powerful, there're also important.

There are two sides of the same coin when it comes to words. Yes, one is "keeping your word to others" and maybe surprisingly "keeping your word to yourself."

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

THOUGHTS AND WORDS

Reality is nothing more than your beliefs mixed with your experiences.

In reality, there are as many worlds as there are people.

No two of us have an identical set of beliefs and experiences.

We may be similar to some, and to others we may be near opposites.

No one is wrong, and no one is right.

We are all just living true to what we think we know.

If someone says, BE REALISTIC; in the face of your dreams, there’s no need to become angry or try to convince them of your view.

Stay true to yourself, be positive, and watch your reality improve.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

WITH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

41 PICTURE SLIDE SHOW, PLUS BONUS MINI VIDEO'S

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today’s post will continue on – CHAPTER FOUR, GET OFF THE FENCE; MAKING THE CHOICE!

Continuing owning your choices; THE LIFEBLOOD OF SUCCESSFUL LIVING IS OWNING YOUR CHOICES.

Yes, there are times in all relationships when we may not like each other very much. There are even times when it feels like there is no love left.

Emotions are like that.

They flatten out occasionally, like a tire with a slow leak.

It can be a bumpy experience for everyone on the ride. I imagine that if you are reading this, you are experiencing a bumpy point in your ride or even a flat-tire time.

You may be considering strongly whether the relationship is worth the effort.

You must choose! The choice requires courage, determination, and commitment and personal ownership.

In the long run it’s definitely worth the struggle. We all sacrificed; we all gained.

Tomorrow, SEE WHAT YOU HAVE, THE PAST. SEE WHAT YOU WANT, THE PRESENT. AND SEE WHAT CAN BE, THE FUTURE.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?

For most people in the United States, sage’s usefulness begins and ends with Thanksgiving turkey stuffing.

But while sage has been pigeonholed as a one-meal wonder in modern times, it has been revered for centuries for its wide range of abilities, from aiding digestion to healing wounds to stopping excessive secretions.

New research is also showing that sage can be used to support a healthy mind and heart, two major concerns for our elder population.

It’s time to pull sage to the forefront of the spice cabinet and enjoy it regularly in foods as well as tea.

It possesses virtues almost too numerous to comprehend under a single heading. By Matthew Wood

STAY TUNE to health benefits of sage!

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

Yesterday’s afternoon walk, enjoying the nature. Dan and I are so blessed to experience the sounds of nature minutes from our home 🏘️ as well as keeping healthy at the same time.

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Guided Meditation for Overthinking ~ You Are Not Your Thoughts

Overthinking can force needless thoughts and ideas on your mind.

With allusions, doubts, fears, regrets and skewed truth it can stress you out.

Neither of these qualities contribute to a happy or healthy life.

This Guided Meditation gives your insight, and makes you mindful of the bigger picture.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
