CONTINUING ON THE SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

It’s surprising as Dan and I post daily information regarding health-related topics, we also learn.

They say knowledge is power and I truly believe that this is what helped me overcome my cancer diagnosis.

Now, after eleven years; Dan and I are being stressed out over this corona virus uncertainty.

Even though we have it under control, there is always that fear; like everyone else.

Emotions, sometimes takes the best of us. Either you experience anger, disgust, fear, happiness, sadness, or surprise.

These emotions are thoughts that turn into words, which reflects to others.

What is it that makes language powerful?

I can give you a simple answer; words filled with emotion.

Words themselves are powerful, but not nearly as powerful as those loaded with human emotion.

Hate, love, anger, contempt, caring and compassion are all part of the full spectrum of human emotion available to all of us.

Emotion is what makes language powerful enough to accomplish the task, move somebody to action, correct a problem or find a solution.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

At least one person in ten is left-handed.

Left-handed people tend to be more creative, more imaginative than right-handed people.

The human brain is divided into two hemispheres, and one dominates the other.

If the right hemisphere dominates, you’ll be left-handed.

As Dan and I continue the series on words and thoughts. I’m going to throw in a twist with sharing the Importance of keeping your word to others and yourself that can affect your own and others health.

Today the post is the importance of keeping your word to others.

Keeping a promise; your words have and hold more power than you think.

So, it’s important to monitor what words you speak, as well as keeping your word because this defines who you are and what people think of you.

Words are building blocks of your existence and they reflect the integrity of their creator.

Since words hold power, it’s both important to speak words that hold positive intentions and always be prepared to keep your word to others, as they’re a reflection of your intentions and integrity.

You’re only as good as your word!

This may sound philosophical, but it’s true!

You see, what you tell others through your words is what they’ll come to believe about you.

If you say you’re going to do something, then you’d best follow through as people will judge you not only on what you say, but on what you do.

If you accomplish what you say you’re going to do, then your words hold power in the future; you gain the trust of others.

Words, in essence become a perfect reflection of your character in a positive light.

Conversely, if you’re constantly saying you’re going to do something and not follow through, your words will eventually hold a negative symbolism of your integrity; you never follow through on what you say you’re going to do.

In other words, you lose the trust of others.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

THOUGHTS AND WORDS

Think for a moment about the meanings of the words encouraging and discouraging

Courage is carrying on, regardless of the presence of fear.

To encourage someone is to enable them to have the courage to continue in the direction they are going.

To discourage someone is to disable them from having courage.

One kind word or one unkind word could be the one thing that keeps someone going or the last straw that makes them quit.

Be aware of this when you choose the words you give to people.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

WITH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

23 PICTURE SLIDE SHOW, PLUS BONUS MINI VIDEO

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today’s post will continue on – CHAPTER FOUR, GET OFF THE FENCE; MAKING THE CHOICE!

SEE WHAT YOU HAVE, THE PAST. SEE WHAT YOU WANT, THE PRESENT. AND SEE WHAT CAN BE, THE FUTURE.

Staying in a difficult relationship or ending one should be up to the person who must live with the consequences.

If you can’t make the relationship work, then look where you have been and design ways to move on to a fulfilling life with other relationships.

As much as you would wish it to be different, some relationships are hopeless.

Both staying the course or moving on offer important growth-lessons if you are committed to the course you choose.

Halfway is not acceptable in building healthy self-esteem.

Both choices require that you see what you have, the past.

See what you want, the present.

And see what can be, the future.

Until tomorrow –

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE.

It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?

Sage is a popular and perfect herb that is used widely for culinary and medicinal purposes.

It is a wonderful silvery plant, with a pleasing fragrance and belongs to the herb of mint family.

The herb is native to Mediterranean regions and has long been cultivated there.

Sage is a popular addition to kitchen herb gardens and is very popular in healing and kitchen cooking.

Today, it is also planted in home gardens, as an ornamental plant.

It has gained a sacred place throughout history for its preservative and medicinal properties and is a popular home remedy even today.

Rich in vitamin A, iron, calcium and potassium, sage helps in preventing sprains, swelling, ulcers, and bleeding and also strengthens the nervous system.

Continue tomorrow with a benefit of sage-

DON'T MIX YOUR WORDS

Don’t mix your words with your mood, you can change your mood but you can’t take back your words.

Until Wednesday, if we understood the power of our thoughts; we would guard them more closely. If we understood the awesome power of our words, we would prefer silence to almost anything negative. In our thoughts and words, we create our own weaknesses and our own strengths.
