Hello Followers,

The first thing that came to my mind this Thursday was how grateful I am to have Dan in my life.

Every morning, I wake up to the smell of coffee.

The word mindfulness will pop up quite often in the next several posts for it is one of the healthiest ways of keeping healthy.

Mindfulness is not something you achieve right away.

It is a habit which is developed gradually over time.

The best approach is to take baby steps.

You might decide to be mindful every time you brush your teeth.

Walk to the car.

Open a door.

Getting your first cup of coffee.

Whichever action you choose, make sure you give your whole attention to it.

For example, when you open a door, watch your hand grasp that doorknob.

Feel the weight of the door as you pull it open.

Hear whatever is on the other side of the doorway.

This simple ritual will allow mindfulness to establish hold in your life.

All you need to do is take baby steps and commit to being mindful for a few seconds each day.

Remember you are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.


We need comfort if we want to stay healthy and happy.

Comfort can also help us achieve our dreams.

Setbacks are inevitable, but one of the most helpful ways to get back up and try again is through receiving the comfort we desire and need.

When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.

Do what you can to get through the moment and know that every difficulty is temporary.
