Hello Followers,
Welcome to Thursday!

In your darkest hour, give thanks, for in due time, the morning will come.
And it will come with a ray of sunshine.
It is full of sunlight and hope.
Now, Dan and I will continue adventuring out in the sunlight!
Today we will explore sunlight and mental health-
Decreased sun exposure has been associated with a drop in your serotonin levels, which can lead to major depression with seasonal patterns.
The light-induced effects of serotonin are triggered by sunlight that goes in through the eye.
Sunlight cues special areas in the retina, which triggers the release of serotonin.
So, you are more likely to experience this type of depression in the wintertime when the days are shorter.
Due to this connection, one of the main treatments for depression with seasonal pattern is light therapy, also known as phototherapy.
You can get a light therapy box to have at home.
The light from the box mimics natural sunlight that stimulates the brain to make serotonin and reduces excess melatonin.
Tomorrow Sunlight and building strong bones-

Continuing today, Life’s is a Journey, not a Destination.
How to live for each moment and find adventure in every day, by Vicki Vrint.
Join us on our new adventure in living each moment and finding adventure in every day.
Live and love each moment.
Press pause and breathe!
The first skill you need to transform your life is also the simplest.
Learn to press pause and take a minute or two to focus on your breathing.
By doing this, you will be training yourself to be present in the moment, rather than rushing through your day on autopilot and missing the little things that make life wonderful.
In the upcoming post, it will be full of ideas to help you reconnect with these special moments.
But for now, training yourself to take breathing breaks is a great start.
Make them a regular event by taking one every time you do something different by simply stepping away from your task, breathe and tune into your feelings.
A 20-minute daytime meditation.
Allow the healing, energetic rays of the sun fill you with joy, peace, and wellbeing.
Until Friday, no sun outlasts its sunset but will rise again and bring the dawn.
