Happy Hump Day!

Did you know when you are instinctively being mindful your brain is engaged in something unfamiliar?

Try something new this Wednesday!

Make it your goal to try new things today, whether it is learning something new on the job or starting an art class.

If you feel anxiety, fear or resistance when facing a new activity, mindfully notice that you are experiencing fear of the unknown.

Be kind to yourself.

Instead of shutting down or holding back, simply switch to an activity you find less scary to begin with.

By slowly building confidence you can enjoy new hobbies and experience more moments of mindfulness.


By creating and performing personally expressive rituals for ourselves, we move freely into our own spiritual lives.

We take charge of marking and honoring the transitions and special moments in our lives that we find significant, in ways we deem meaningful.

Rituals are tools that give us the freedom to take responsibility for the direction and purpose of our lives.

Our task is to seize and shape this freedom; consciously, deliberately, and joyfully.

Rituals provide us with a sense of renewal.

The days have a rhythm, full of unconscious rituals we create for ourselves.

Waking, washing, coffee, a walk; it is easy to take these things for granted as individual moments of repetition.

But they are also an opportunity to create intentional rituals to bolster your heart and reinforce your spirit.

As you go through your day, can you wake up to these moments of ritual?

The more deliberate you can be, the more meaningful they will become.

Rid yourself of all negative energy, stress, anxiety.
