Hello Followers,

Happy Tuesday!

Life and love go on, let the music play.
Life and love go on, let the music play.

Music influences our bodies, influencing everything from our heart rate to our hormone levels.

Studies have shown that listening to music can:

Reduce stress: Music can lower cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress.

Improve sleep: Calming music can help regulate sleep patterns and improve sleep quality.

Boost immunity: Listening to music can increase the production of immunoglobulin A, an antibody that plays a role in our immunity.

But how does this happen?

The answer lies in the way music interacts with our brains.

Music activates multiple regions of the brain, including those involved in emotion, memory, and motor control.

This activation can lead to the release of neurochemicals like dopamine, which is associated with pleasure and reward.

How to Pre-Germinate Vegetable Seeds 🌱

Pre-germinating seeds is an excellent method, especially for older seeds, to ensure higher success rates before planting.

- Steps to Pre-Germinate Seeds:

1. Soak the Seeds:

- Soak your seeds in water for 1-2 hours (larger seeds like peas may need longer soaking).

2. Prepare the Napkin:

- Use a damp (not dripping wet) paper towel or napkin.

Lay the soaked seeds on the napkin, spacing them out.

3. Seal the Seeds:

- Cover with plastic or place the napkin inside a zip-lock bag to keep the moisture in.

Ensure there’s air circulation to avoid mold.

4. Warm Location:

- Place the bag or tray somewhere warm, like the top of a refrigerator.

Seeds will begin to sprout roots in a few days.

5. Transplant Sprouted Seeds:

- Once roots appear, carefully transplant the sprouted seeds into soil or containers.

- Tips:

- Use this method to avoid planting duds, especially with older seeds.

- Keep a diagram or label the bags to track seed varieties.

- Pre-germinate in July or August for fall gardening too!

Enjoy gardening with a head start on healthy seedlings! 🌿

Know that you have all that you need within to be your own healer and the practice of meditation is a powerful tool for healing.

All too often we look outside of ourselves for the answers to life's challenges.

When it comes to healing the body, we are quick to forget that our bodies already have their own innate ability to heal.

We cannot outsmart our body's inner wisdom.

Though doctors and alternative healers have a place in your journey, they only help us set up the environment to heal.

It is up to us to do the work.

For today's practice, let us tip the scale in our favor.

Let us find a balance so our cells can relax and do what they have always known how to do.

Until Wednesday, music is the soundtrack of your life.
