No matter how old you may be, sometimes you just need your mom.

Hello Followers,

Let’s celebrate its Friday! TGF – time for the weekend. It is also Mother’s Day weekend. Of all the special joys in life, the big ones and the small a mother’s love and tenderness is the greatest of them all.

As I reminisce through the past several years, remembering the first Mother’s Day living in Mexico. Dan asked me what I wanted to do, usually we go out for dinner. Not that year, he took me to the Escaramuza show at the Ajijic Bull Ring.

Today Dan took me to the Escaramuza performance in Ajijic. The word Escaramuza in Spanish means skirmish. Another meaning is, "Riding from the heart."

It was a combination of equestrian skills, handcrafted tack, beautiful costumes, music and food.

It is a rich heritage of living folk traditions dating back hundreds of years. I found it breath taking and very colorful.

The riding is dangerous and precise. I watched the women saying prayers before performance.

I had no way to gather information on this event. All I have to share with you is the photos and the joy I had while watching them. Most of the women on the horses were very young. Some looked like they were young teenagers. I was impressed with their skills and determination.

The show began with all the riders and their horses being together along with music and people standing for the Mexican National Anthem, it was very moving. It was obvious that a great deal of planning and effort went into this event.

Everything has to be perfectly timed. I only saw one time when two horses bumped into each other. Fortunately, one girl fell but was not hurt.

The performance was something that I never saw before and was a great Mother's Day outing. I enjoyed the talent and bravery of each one of the girls. It took hard work and training to put on the performance that they exhibited. An amazing job!!!!

Since we are back in the states, living in Virginia where the Blue Ridge Mountain’s are; perhaps we will go to a park and have a picnic. What are you all planning to do this weekend?

You can use the creative power of the mind to confront and shape your unique reality.

Believe that your vision is important; this awareness will involve you emotionally in your activities. Develop the ability to love and enjoy everything that you do; see your projects and experiences as an extension of yourself. This total investment will account for a large part of your success.

Let your imagination run rampant. Once you have dreamed your final goal construct the mental pictures of the steps you can take toward it. Then go out with a heart filled with passion and actualize what you have seen.

This technique is called the power of visualization and it has been proven effective by many successful people.

When you have faith in the outcome, no matter what it may be, you cannot stop yourself from living and working with enthusiasm. As you put what you feel into action, you are filled with vitality and happiness. When you start out with an attitude like that, it enriches your life and mobilizes the people around you.

When you act according to your highest dreams, the outcome is often far grander than you might imagine. By Wally Amos

Every Single Cell in My Body is Well

Are you taking care of your body cells and making them happy this Friday? Anyone who is looking to improve their health and well-being would do very well to pay attention to the health of their cells. Our cells might be microscopic and seemingly insignificant, but they are responsible for pretty much everything that happens in the human body.

Mitochondria are tiny structures that exist in almost every cell in the body. These microscopic organelles serve as a kind of power station or battery for each cell, providing the energy required for all types of cellular and metabolic processes.

There have been more than 200 different diseases and health conditions attributed to mitochondrial dysfunction, encompassing everything from cardiovascular disease to renal failure and even diabetes.

Most people experience a decline in cellular levels of a compound you may be familiar with called CoQ10 (also known as ubiquinone or ubiquinol). This can lead to a reduction in energy levels, as well as to make matters worse, the oxidative damage caused by free radicals and other environmental toxins can compromise the structure of DNA and cell membranes, increasing the risk of cancer and other diseases.

Consuming a diet that is high in antioxidants can help keep your cells relatively healthy; however, using a proven supplement can give you far greater benefits in the long run and help prevent an acceleration of the aging process.
