Hello Followers,

Welcome to the Weekend!

ree

November is here, ushering in the season of gratitude and stirring a reflective energy that inspires us to cherish each moment of dwindling daylight and the soothing cool breeze!

Dan and I would like you to join us to make the most of November!

Let this be the November you always remember.

The November you chose to believe there was more to your future than you were able to see.

November, when you learned to trust that after everything happened, in time, you would grow in the courage to open up again.

And you could look forward to these new unknowns, believing that no matter what would happen, you would still grow.

You would still be worthy of love, even though you were made to feel you were not good enough.

Let this be the November you chose to rise above.

And where everything changed, and you decided you were free to heal and never be the same.

It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of sage and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.

Burning sage is said to clear mental fog and enhance intuition.

So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.

Sage is one of the few herbs scientifically linked to improved brain performance.

A 2024 clinical trial published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology found that healthy adults who took sage extract performed better on memory and attention tests within just a few hours of ingestion.

The effect is believed to come from rosmarinic acid and other polyphenols that inhibit acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine, a key neurotransmitter for learning and memory.

In fact, the same mechanism is targeted by certain Alzheimer’s medications.

This makes sage a natural option for mild cognitive decline or age-related memory loss.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT

DID YOU KNOW!

Sleeping on your left side has been shown to be incredibly beneficial for the body with, in my opinion, the most incredible benefit being the facilitation of lymphatic drainage.

The lymphatic system has a dominant flow toward the left side of the body, where much of the lymphatic fluid drains into the thoracic duct, the thoracic duct then drains into the left side of the heart, left internal jugular vein the left subclavian vein.

Sleeping on your left side allows gravity to assist in the drainage of lymphatic fluid making the process more efficient.

By better facilitating lymphatic drainage, sleeping on your left side improves the function of the lymph nodes, which act as filters in the lymphatic system, trapping and destroying foreign substances like bacteria and cancer cells.

The lymph nodes also play a crucial role in the body by housing and activating lymphocytes, which are white blood cells that fight infection and disease.

Research also shows that sleeping on the left side enhances the glymphatic system, which helps clear waste from the brain, reducing the risk of neurodegenerative disease.

Sleeping on your left side improves blood circulation by preventing pressure on the vena cava, the body’s largest vein.

This position allows for better blood flow to the heart and organs, especially the liver and kidneys and is also extremely beneficial during pregnancy.

Also, sleeping on your left side improves liver function by keeping pressure off the liver, improving blood flow, and aiding the body’s natural detoxification processes. ❤

Dan and I welcome you to join us with the next book for our book club.

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington

KEEP THINGS SIMPLE, VERY SIMPLE

Jellyfish are a group of very primitive and simple animals, without a brain or heart, nor any form of skeleton.

Lots have a round or bell-shaped body with a mouth and simple gut, and tentacles armed with stinging cells that hang in the water below.

The simple anatomy has helped jellyfish thrive in all the world’s oceans, from the topics to the poles, and from surface waters to the very deep sea.

Some jellyfish have a very powerful sting, and while they are best not touched, they are beautiful, very varied in form, and mesmerizing to watch.

Take a few moments to breathe, soften, and release the need to control.

This guided meditation gently helps you accept life as it is, allowing space for peace, clarity, and self-compassion.

Until Sunday, sage does not just cleanse spaces,

it can help release emotional baggage.
