Hello Followers,

Welcome to Tuesday!

ree

In the season of thanks, let your heart be full of appreciation and your days filled with kindness.

This month is perfect for reflecting on the beauty of giving and receiving gratitude.

It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of sage and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.

Sage is more than just a seasoning it is a source of savory wordplay and sprigs of laughter and sage advice!

So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.

Emerging research shows that sage may have insulin-like properties that help regulate blood sugar.

A 2023 Phytotherapy Research study found that participants with type 2 diabetes who took sage extract for 3 months experienced significant reductions in fasting glucose and HbA1c levels.

Researchers suggest that sage enhances glucose uptake in cells, like the action of metformin, a common diabetes medication.

This makes sage tea or standardized extracts a promising natural adjunct for maintaining healthy blood sugar, though it should never replace medical treatment.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT

DID YOU KNOW!

Every cell in your body is listening to your mind.

What you think shapes what your body produces.

Stressful thoughts trigger stress hormones that can impact your health, while calm, positive thinking releases compounds that promote healing and wellbeing.

This powerful mind-body connection shows that your brain is not just a thinking organ, it is your most potent pharmacy.

Science increasingly confirms that mental states influence immunity, inflammation, and even cellular repair.

By managing your thoughts and emotions through mindfulness, meditation, and positive practices, you can literally change your body chemistry and improve long-term health.

Your mind holds the key to unlocking your body’s natural ability to heal, protect, and thrive.

Every thought is a choice, choose wisely.

Dan and I welcome you to join us with the next book for our book club.

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington

EVEN SCARY THINGS NEED TO BE PROTECTED

The blue shark is an ocean-going wanderer.

It is beautifully proportioned and colored a sleek and shiny silver blue.

It is a fast swimmer whose main prey is squid and small fish, although it is not above eating carrion, and a keen sense of smell helps it find the occasional feast that a recently deceased whale offers.

Blue shark is a popular food for people, and its fins are used for soup in some places, meaning it is one of the most heavily fished sharks and is now a threatened species.

Please leave shark off your menu.

It takes 10 minutes to reconnect with your inner joy and open your heart to love and peace.

In this gentle guided meditation, you will release tension, awaken your heart center, and welcome the vibrant energy of joy back into your life.

Autumn in the air! Last weekend, Dan and I went to Mills Mountain Star and had a relaxing picnic. With all the leaves changing, we were in awe.

Until Wednesday, when life gets bland, a pinch of sage makes it spicy.
