Hello Followers,
Thank goodness it is Friday!

A grateful perspective brings happiness and abundance into one’s life.
Gratitude is the ability to experience life as a gift.
Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.
It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of sage and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.
When in doubt, add a little sage to your thoughts.
So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.
Sage is both antimicrobial and antiviral, making it an excellent immune-boosting herb.
A 2024 review in Frontiers in Immunology showed that sage extracts inhibited the growth of harmful bacteria like E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Salmonella.
The study also found that sage increased the activity of white blood cells, supporting a stronger immune response.
Regular consumption, such as sage tea or culinary use may help protect against respiratory infections and seasonal colds.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT
DID YOU KNOW!
🍰 That sugar rush might be messing with your brain more than you think!
Science confirms it: too much sugar can rewire your brain, making it tougher to learn and remember.
A quick glucose boost is great fuel, but constant hits from sugary drinks, desserts, or snacks can harm neuron communication long-term.
Studies show excess sugar lowers BDNF, a key chemical for forming new brain connections vital for learning, memory, and creativity.
Low BDNF keeps your brain stuck, while sugar also sparks inflammation and disrupts the hippocampus (your memory hub), dulling focus over time.
Good news?
Your brain can bounce back!
Swap added sugars for nutrient-packed foods like fruits, veggies, whole grains, and omega-3s to boost BDNF and sharpen your mind.
Next time you eye that extra cake slice, think twice your brain’s learning power might be on the line!
Dan and I welcome you to join us with the next book for our book club.
LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington
SET YOURSELF UP FOR GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP
Parrotfish have a peculiar way of setting themselves up for the night.
In the shelter of a crevice, each fish will cover itself in a thick layer of mucous, which it produces from its mouth.
Unsurprisingly, it seems that predators leave them alone, but the main benefit of the gloopy sleeping bag seems to be that it protects the fish from parasites that would otherwise bug it as it slept.
Some parrotfish eat coral, biting off chunks of the living reef for food.
The inedible part of the coral rock is excreted out by the fish in fine chunks; the fish are believed to supply large quantities of the sand that builds up on local beaches!
Life’s challenges can sometimes make us forget how powerful and capable we truly are.
In this meditation, you will be gently guided to center yourself, release tension, and awaken the quiet strength that already lives within you.
Until Saturday, mixing wisdom with humor is Dan and my special kind of sage.
