Hello Followers,
Thank goodness for Friday!

And the last day of October.
It is time for Halloween's spooky spectacle.
The snickering grins of jack-o'-lanterns glow from lit porches.
Kids skip down the block in creative costumes, touting bags full of candy and shouting Trick or Treat at the top of their lungs.
As watchful parents follow behind, in Halloween's laughter and joy.
Halloween is funny, spooky, cheerful all at once.
It is all just a bunch of hocus pocus!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN-
It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of sage and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.
Sage is best for meditation, decision-making, or before spiritual work.
So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.
Sage (Salvia officinalis) is an aromatic perennial herb belonging to the mint family (Lamiaceae), the same family as rosemary, thyme, and oregano.
Native to the Mediterranean region, sage has been valued for centuries not only as a flavorful culinary spice but also as a traditional medicinal plant used for memory enhancement, digestion, and respiratory ailments.
In modern research, sage is recognized for its rich concentration of vitamins, minerals, and powerful phytonutrients that contribute to its wide range of health benefits.
Both fresh and dried sage, as well as its essential oil and extract forms are used in cooking, herbal teas, and natural medicine.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT
DID YOU KNOW!
A groundbreaking study reveals that the conversations we have with ourselves can physically reshape the brain.
Whether positive or negative, self-talk strengthens or weakens neural pathways over time, directly shaping how we think, feel, and behave.
Positive self-talk reinforces brain regions tied to motivation, problem-solving, and emotional control, boosting mental health, confidence, and resilience under stress.
Negative self-talk, however, strengthens circuits linked to fear, anxiety, and self-doubt, making it harder to escape harmful mental loops.
Every repeated thought act like a mental workout either building stronger, healthier connections or wearing them down.
The findings are transformative.
Teaching children or therapy patients to use positive self-talk could help rewire the brain for long-term emotional and cognitive strength.
Science makes it clear; the inner voice is not just a thought it is a tool.
The words we choose can literally reshape the mind for growth, balance, and happiness.
Dan and I welcome you to join us with the next book for our book club.
LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington
JUST KEEP SWIMMING
With a dappled blue and black streak back, and a silver belly beneath, mackerel are an attractive fish that form enormous shoals several tens of thousands of strong in water close to the sea’s surface.
They are very fast swimmers and must keep on swimming, day, and night, to take in oxygen from the water.
As they keep moving, mackerel do not have time to be choosy about what they eat and will swallow up floating matter of most kinds.
Mackerel can live to be eighteen years old but are a popular oily food fish for people and are fished heavily.
Release tension and reconnect with calm in this guided meditation.
Perfect for beginners or anyone feeling overwhelmed, this practice uses breath awareness, gentle body scanning, and visualization to help you let go of stress and return to the present moment.
Until Saturday, the word sage means a wise person.
