Hello Followers,
Welcome to Tuesday!

The other day, Dan and I ended up at Barnes and Noble.
I came across a book that caught my eye for our book club.
LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington
In the beginning, there was water.
Earth's life-sustaining liquid came from the dust from which the planet was born.
So, join Dan and I as we learn essential life lessons from our most precious resources.
From learning to go with the flow of the tide to taking inspiration from starfish about how to handle setbacks.
The sea is a continual miracle.
The fish that swim, the rocks, the motion of the waves, and the ships that sail the seas.
What stranger miracles are there?
It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of thyme and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.
Thyme is one of nature’s most aromatic herbs.
So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.
Thyme is a wonderful ingredient that is used in cuisines around the world, particularly in France, Italy, and across the Mediterranean.
Thyme is a main ingredient in this tasty take on pesto sauce, which you can use as a condiment or add to pasta or rice.
Fresh leaves or whole sprigs can be used while preparing meat or poultry.
Thyme is also an excellent ingredient to use with fish, like in this heart-healthy white fish recipe.
The whole wheat macaroni and cheese with mushrooms and thyme is a grown-up spin on a childhood favorite, and it is a great way to add some thyme to your diet.
Thyme may also have a positive effect on the safety and longevity of cooking oils.
A 2012 study indicated that thyme extract might prolong the stability of sunflower oil at different temperatures as well as provide antioxidant effects.

Rinse the thyme sprigs and spread them out on a plate lined with paper towels.
You need about 3/4 cup of thyme sprigs per cup of oil.
Air dry overnight.
Add the thyme sprigs and oil to a heavy-bottomed saucepan and place it on the stove.
Set the heat to medium-low.
Monitor the oil temperature using an instant-read thermometer.
Remove the saucepan from the heat when the oil reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
Let the oil cool to room temperature.
Strain the oil through a sieve and into a bowl, then transfer the oil to a glass bottle using a funnel.
Store thyme oil in the refrigerator for up to one month.
KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT
DID YOU KNOW!
Research suggests that dark chocolate with over 70% cocoa can stimulate bone marrow stem cells, aiding the repair of vital organs such as the heart and liver.
Rich in flavonoids, it helps reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and support brain health.
Unlike sugary processed varieties, high-cocoa chocolate delivers concentrated benefits directly from cacao.
Choosing darker chocolate provides stronger protective effects and makes it a healthier option.
These findings highlight how natural compounds in cacao can positively influence long-term wellness.
