Hello Followers,

Happy Hump Day!

Life is like the ocean.

It can be calm or still, and rough or rigid, but in the end, it is always beautiful.

There are some things you learn best in calm, and some in storm.

It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of ginger and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.

Ginger is often connected to its ability to bring good luck and fortune

So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.

This is traditionally used in many Asian countries against cold and flu.

A study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology found that fresh ginger shows potential antiviral properties against respiratory tract infections.

It can be used in the form of tea for providing relief to sore throat and coughing.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT

DID YOU KNOW!

Recent studies have revealed that listening to birdsong has a demonstrably soothing effect on the human nervous system, with the ability to reduce anxiety, depression and even paranoia within about 6 minutes of listening.

Humans have an evolutionary history of living in close contact with nature.

Birdsong signals a safe and peaceful environment free of threats, which can condition the nervous system to relax.

Also, the “rest and digest” response of the nervous system (parasympathetic) is activated by listening to birdsong.

This leads to a decrease in heart rate and blood pressure, both of which help ease anxiety especially.

Natural sounds like birdsong also gently holds a person’s attention without overloading it.

This restorative process helps combat mental fatigue from overstimulation.

The melodic and cheerful nature of birdsong also evokes positive emotional responses that can counteract the effects of stress and a negative mood.

Some researchers have even suggested that birdsong be played as a “soothing background soundscape” in clinical settings, such as psychiatric hospitals to help manage anxiety and paranoia, because it is that effective!

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington

IT PAYS TO BE PATIENT

Anglerfish are bizarre and monstrous-looking creatures, but they are fascinating.

Most lie still on the seabed, dangling a pointy appendage on the top of the head to entice prey.

Anglers in the deep ocean, known as ceratoid anglers, attract prey with a luminescent lure.

Small fish find the bright light irresistible, swim closer to investigate, and with one gulp the angler has its meal.

Finding a mate can take a long time too, and when it happens, a male angler might stay with the much larger female for the remainder of his life.

In this guided session, you will be gently led through practices of self-compassion and love.

Whether you are dealing with stress, self-doubt, or simply need a moment of peace, this meditation is designed to help you embrace kindness towards yourself, just as you are.

Until Thursday, ginger attracts the abundance you desire.

So do not be afraid to give it a try, your luck might just change for the better!
