Three things in life – your health, your mission, and the people you love.

Hello followers,

It is TGF, have you ever wondered why they use TGF for Friday? Its title is THANK GOODNESS FOR!

So, I guess it is correct, for we all wish for Friday – the weekend begins. It’s time to relax and unwind from the stressful week. This is the time for us to give our body cells a break and thank them for holding you up all week long.

Every second, millions of your cells die, and need to be replaced with new ones (worry not - it still makes only a small fraction of your total cell count). While young, your body is creating more cells than it loses; as you age, this gradually turns around. In any case, in order to sustain life of all those cells - that is, your own -

This is where the saying you are what you eat, for you have to supply them with necessary nutrients.

It is the bloodstream that carries this flow of life: blood forced out of the capillaries by the pulsating force of heartbeats baths the cells with nutrients and body-produced substances they need for proper functioning and regeneration. After fluid exchange with the cells, most of intracellular fluid is absorbed back to capillaries (small portion is absorbed by the lymphatic system), taking cells' metabolic waste to the channels of elimination: intestine, kidneys and skin.

The constant flow of blood ensures that this process never gets interrupted. So, you see why you have to make sure you keep your body cells happy!

The big picture is as simple as that. Contents of the tissue fluid vary with the tissue and organ it surrounds, according to their specific functions. As long as it contains just what it needs to accomplish its nourishing, regulatory and janitorial functions to body cells, you are healthy.

If it is missing something, or contains significant levels of destructive or interfering agents - the notorious among these being free radicals, chemical toxins or energy fields - your health suffers: the stage for the onset of a disease is set.

Its all about the body cells and how we treat them! Your cells nourishment and protection are the two out of three main ingredients of the recipe for health. You want to keep your cells happy, and give to them all they need to function, regenerate and multiply optimally. And, just as important, to protect them from harm.

Part of making sure that your cells get what they need is paying attention to your body's metabolic preferences. Not only that it will make you feel better if you eliminate foods that fall short of making you feel energized, or cause discomfort - foods that your body does well with may tell you something important about your health.

As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of BELIEVING, entry from 5-14-11; SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH.

What is the truth? Is it what the media says? Or even what our doctors tell us? We learn from a young age to believe and listen to our parents about what and whom to trust. But did we listen to them! The answers to the questions above are for us to take heed to our hearts. Since I was diagnosed and researching, I found out the only person you can rely on is yourself. By doing this you will obtain the knowledge and be able to make up your own mind.

I have always taken into account people’s opinions, and did not take it that we are on this earth for only a short time. We need to take control of what is good and what is not. I am very passionate about keeping people informed by showing what is around us; this is why I am creating this journal, to show everyone there’s another way to take care of your health without harmful things. We can do this for ourselves by not using manmade chemicals.

Yesterday, Dan and I both did our meditation and Qigong; however, the day came and gone. Went on some sites regarding my book to update information. Well, if you know how these things go, it took me the whole day to get correct information on these sites. Nevertheless, walking was out of the picture. I guess one day, Dan and I can play hooky from walking. Did you walk? Here is a WALK AT HOME video if you can’t get out.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Are you ready for another fennel herb recipe? How about FENNEL TEA!

This tea is perfect for upset tummies especially those caused by gas. Its also a great way to stop hiccups. Variations of this tea recipe have long been given to babies for colic, but do not use honey in children under the age of two, due to botulism risk. Adults can drink 2 to 3 servings of this daily.

Small children may need only a teaspoon or less, diluted with a little water.

1 tablespoon fennel seeds

1 tablespoon dried lemon balm or 2 tablespoons fresh lemon balm

Honey to taste

1. Bring 1 ¼ cups of water to a boil.

2. Place the fennel and lemon balm in a mug or tea infuser.

3. Pour the just boiled water over the herbs.

4. Wait 5 minutes covered while the mixture steeps in.

5. Then strain and add honey.

Until Saturday, take this with you the rest of your day; the secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.
