Your life requires your mindful presence in order to live it. Be here now.

THIS WEEK, CONTINUING SERIES ON EMBRACING THE PRESENT MOMENT AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO? BONUS, THE SIX SENSES AND YOUR WELL-BEING.

Hello Followers,

Happy Tuesday and last day of November!

Hanukkah began Sunday, November 28th to December 3rd.

And count down 25 days until CHRISTMAS.

It’s easy to plan for the future, making to-do lists for today and making plans for the upcoming afternoon when it is still early morning.

It is much more difficult to be fully present in the current moment where you are actually living.

Why is that?

For Dan and I, we find it a matter of gratitude; forgetting gratitude.

When I’m overly focused on creating my next to-do list, or scheduling my next week of activities, I am looking more towards what the future holds for me and Dan, instead of what I have in the present moment.

Somehow, I think that once I cross these items off the list, or are productive by getting past all the errands next week, then I will have time to slow down, rest and enjoy some peace in the moment.

Then I will have time to appreciate where I am in life and be grateful.

The reality of life is that there will always be more to do, more items to check off the list.

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

CHAPTER 1; HAPPILY, YOURSELF

PROTECT WHAT YOU TREASURE

Its self-evident good things need to be kept safe.

But it’s surprising how often this basic life rule is broken.

Be sure to recognize what’s valuable.

Look after your body, your most precious physical possession.

Don’t take for granted the people who mean most to you.

Nurture your skills.

Value your origins.

And use your vote, and ideally campaign to ensure your values are reflected in the political system you inhabit; at local and national levels.

THE SIX SENSES AND YOUR WELL-BEING

Can your instincts sense danger or discomfort immediately?

You have a very strong gut feeling when something is off.

Sometimes you might feel it as a knot in your tummy.

Or, you could feel restless and unwell.

If you say yes to something that you should be saying no to, you feel it instantly in your gut.

You can sense when a loved one is not okay, even if they are away physically.

Much like how a new mom instinctively knows what her infant needs, you can sense your loved ones' need or discomfort.

You might suddenly remember someone after years and out of the blue, you get a call from them.

All these suggest that you have a strong instinct that is beyond the logical brain.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

DID YOU KNOW?

Bill Hopkins, of the Yerkes Regional Primate Center at Emory University in Atlanta; has conducted research that indicates a strong correlation between birth order and handedness.

First born, chimps, as well as 50 percent of the chimps with five or more older siblings are more likely to be left-handed.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

HOW SAFE IS

THROUGH PICTURES AND VIDEO'S

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

AND VIDEO

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Today will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 10; BUTTONS AND TRIGGERS

SIGNS OF REACTIVE BEHAVIOR

Its important to recognize signs of reactive behavior so you can learn from your experiences.

You can learn to identify symptoms and find healthy ways to resolve the tensions.

Defusing the underlying problem before there is a major explosion is possible.

Failure to address the buttons that try to point you to the problem areas builds the tension causing you to become bound and overreactive.

Here are some indicators that your behavior has become button bound:

1. You overreact to any provocation, even to the point of rage.

2. You feel manipulated, threatened, or controlled.

3. You long for what you are not getting.

4. Anger bursts forth, explosive and implosive.

5. Emotions tailspin after confrontation, or even merely after being together.

6. Issues from the past keep poking into the present.

7. Immaturity abounds; stomping, pouring, tantrums, withdrawal.

8. Chaos dominates the interactions.

9. Your emotions seem out of control.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of HAWTHORN. It’s amazing what and how hawthorn can help keep your body healthy?

Its thorns are like nails; inches long and strong; tensile, and yet, a gentler, more nourishing medicine plant is unlikely to be found. By Jim McDonald; herbalist.

Hawthorn berries are tiny fruits that grow on trees and shrubs belonging to the Crataegus genus.

The genus includes hundreds of species commonly found in Europe, North America, and Asia.

Their berries are packed with nutrition and have a tart, tangy taste and mild sweetness, ranging in color from yellow to deep red to black.

For centuries, hawthorn berry has been used as an herbal remedy for digestive problems, heart failure, and high blood pressure.

In fact, it’s a key part of traditional Chinese medicine.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.
