Hello Followers,

Welcome to Thursday!

ree

This time of the year reminds Dan and me to cherish every moment.

It is a time for reflection, joy, and connection.

Moments shared are the true gifts that keep on giving.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:

Worry is like a rocking chair.

Something to do but gets you nowhere.

Yet, much like a rocking chair, which moves back and forth all the time but never actually advances, worry means expending effort without making real progress.

People often believe that worrying prepares them, helps them foresee difficulties, or even protects them from negative outcomes.

Letting go of worry does not mean ignoring difficulties but rather recognizing that it offers no real benefit.

Progress comes from mindful awareness, acceptance, and practical steps forward.

Life will always present uncertainty and challenge, but responding with purpose is different than simply spinning in place.

Just as a rocking chair can be soothing for a time but never replaces the act of journeying somewhere, worry is ultimately a substitute for constructive engagement with life’s demands.

Finding the courage to step out of the comfort of anxiety, forsaking the rocking chair for active steps, opens the way to genuine growth and resolution.

DO NOT WORRY BE HAPPY!

Like watching clouds float in the sky above you, learn to allow your thoughts to pass and transform without judgement or attachment.

This is a great practice that will help you improve your skills at practicing non-judgement towards your own thoughts (p.s. you deserve that!!)

Until Friday, worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.
