Clocks were invented to warn us. Tick (time is passing). Tock (time has passed).

THIS WEEK BLOG IS ON THE SERIES, DON’T LET YOUR ALARM CLOCK, BE THE ONLY REASON YOU WAKE UP AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, FINISHING THE HERBS – ASTRAGALUS AND STARTING THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello Followers,

HAPPY HUMP DAY!

I woke up realizing that one of the components to living life to the fullest that I had lacked for many years was; letting others determine your self-worth.

I was raised with three other sisters and this was hard for I always felt that my acceptance was always compared to them and for what I was.

When you compare yourself to others, you’re devaluing yourself?

Looking at someone else’s life from the outside is the same as looking at a highlight reel.

Who knows how long it took them to get to their current position?

Don’t compare your life to others.

When you look in the mirror, who do you see?

Do you see someone you trust, admire, and believe in?

Or do you see someone who is always making mistakes and falling short?

The reality is who you see has little to do with what you are visually looking at.

It has everything to do with what the little voice in your head is saying about you at any given time.

That little voice in your head, the one is constantly judging everything.

That’s your self-worth!

Your self-worth can be your best friend or your worst enemy.

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”– Eleanor Roosevelt

JULY – 20th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about July that’s so significant during this month?

World Jump Day – July 20, 2022

This day aims to shift the orbit of Earth, to extend daylight hours, and to create a more standardized climate throughout the world.

This day is observed as a way of taking a light-hearted but stern look at the very serious issue of global warming and climate change.

Although it’s impossible to change the orbit of the Earth, jumping is a lot of fun!

World Jump Day was started by German artist Torsten Lauschmann.

He launched and popularized the idea through his website.

The day was first observed on July 20, 2006, after the site gathered almost 600,256,820 registered jumpers!

Lauschmann presented jumping as an art installation to raise awareness about global warming.

Today the day is mostly celebrated in jest since we all know that our combined weight on Earth is so minimal that it will have no impact on the planet’s orbit whatsoever.

The day is considered to be unscientific and was widely discredited.

Whatever the reason may be, jumping is fun and a good form of exercise.

World Jump Day is celebrated exactly at 11:39:13 GMT.

At this time, millions of people from the Western Hemisphere jump simultaneously.

It is believed that coordinated jumping will force the planet to move out from its original orbit and into a new one, and this would stop global warming!

But not all of it is a joke, some scientists believe that if 600 million people jump at the same moment; the earth will move a bit from its orbit.

This will increase the distance between the Sun and the Earth, thereby reducing the risks of global warming.

It is based on the theory that changes in earth mass will make a difference in the earth’s orbit.

Needless to say, it is unproven that having millions of people jump at the same time would make a difference in the Earth’s orbit.

So, Let’s Jump!

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

THE TRUTH IS WE DON’T KNOW WHAT THE NEXT MOMENT HOLDS. THAT’S BOTH THE CHALLENGE OF BEING IN THE NOW AND ACTUALLY THE TRUE JOY OF IT.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 17; WHEN YOU WANT TO HELP

PARTNERING-

Dancing as partners, a healthy relationship allows both people to be individuals.

When either party counts on the other to conduct their life, the relationship is a losing proposition.

You may be locked in a twisted dance that has encouraged dependency rather than interdependency, from the beginning of the relationship.

Fortunately, the pattern of your dance can change if you decide to do something about it.

Healthy relationships don’t happen; you make them happen through right choices, hard work and determination.

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

We live in times of incredible change, where the pace of life places ever more burden on us.

With so many things to do, so much to take care of, it is very easy to let life run away with us.

We may find our time is filled with so many tasks that the effects of stress on our bodies, minds and emotions go largely unnoticed.

This is until something goes wrong!

Our bodies are very good at telling us what is going on.

But perhaps we have forgotten how to read the constant signals before a problem kicks in.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

CLOCKS ⏰TICK-TOCK

Until Thursday, when an alarm clock wakes a person up,

it makes them feel not like the early bird, but like the worm.
