Courage is like a muscle. We strengthen it by use.

STARTING THIS WEEK ON A BRAND-NEW SERIES, FOCUSING ON YOUR STRENGTH AND CONTINUING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – COFFEE.

Hello Followers,

Wow, this week went by fast!

I’m looking forward to Mother’s Day weekend.

Focusing on our strengths is a more effective use of our time.

It is precious, so focus on your strength and not your weakness!

We can’t be perfect at everything that we do.

So, rather than being exceptional, at several things; we may be better off spending our time trying to perfect our strengths.

In focusing on our weaknesses, we may make some progress, but we will never reach an expert level of ability.

These are not our natural strengths, so we may not be energized or highly motivated to make any improvements.

Here we go again -

Since it’s May, Dan and I thought it would be fun to share what is it about May that’s so significant during this month?

Let’s take a look at this a-may-zing month!

May isn’t just a bad time to get married, though.

There’s the Cornish superstition that buying a new broom in May is unlucky.

Oh, and apparently, you shouldn’t wash any blankets either!

I guess Dan and I are not going to buy a broom or wash any blankets this month!

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

JUST FOR TODAY, ALLOW YOURSELF TO EMBRACE ALL THAT YOU ARE EVERY MOMENT. KNOW THAT YOU ARE A VESSEL OF LIGHT. ALLOW YOURSELF TO RELEASE ALL DOUBTS ABOUT YOUR ABILITY, THE MISTAKES OF THE PAST, THE FEAR OF THE FUTURE.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 15; TOUCH WITH WORDS

COMBINE KIND ACTS WITH WORDS- Instead of an act that would be remembered with disgrace.

When gentle words are followed by acts of kindness, the words are heard through walls of anger, guilt, shame, or pain.

Communication is a combination of right words and sensitive acts.

Begin with the end in mind.

Focus on the goal so that you do not get sidetracked in defensive reactions. This is one of the habits of highly effective people.

If our automatic pilot locks up on the past, the unfairness, or any other impediment, our emotions take over, demanding answers; why are you letting them get away with those remarks?

Don’t you care that they aren’t listening?

What’s wrong with them, can’t get their story straight?

Difficult relationships can drive us crazy.

Problems, emotions and screwed-up behavior can put you on automatic pilot and destroy the chance for reconciliation or for just developing a more normal relationship.

Surely you don’t want to look back and see lost opportunities to reach out in love and perhaps bring about change.

Continue tomorrow- BE BIGGER THAN A SCREWED-UP PERSON

This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Today blogging on the herb; COFFEE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how coffee can help keep your body healthy

Coffee is linked to a lower risk of depression.

Some studies have found that drinking coffee could be associated with a lower risk of depression.

According to one review of seven studies, each cup of coffee people consumed per day was linked to an 8% lower risk of depression.

Another study found that drinking at least four cups of coffee each day was associated with a significantly lower risk of depression, compared with drinking just one cup per day.

What’s more, one study in more than 200,000 people showed that drinking coffee was linked to a lower risk of death by suicide.

Several studies have found that coffee could be linked to a lower risk of depression and may even be linked to a lower risk of death by suicide.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
