Every Great Dream Begins with a Dreamer

Hello to all,

How are you doing out there? Love to hear what you are up to! Dan and I are now approaching our 42nd day of staying around the house. Today I woke up asking myself if the dreams that I have been experiencing will come true? I did some research into dreams and found out some things.

The only thing that will stop you from fulfilling your dreams is you!

First, I always asked myself if I was the only one that is a dreamer! The answer is that everyone does dream, but not everyone remembers his or her dreams. Some people can have intense memories of a dream while others remember only a few details, and others may recall nothing at all. While circumstances of how much we remember our dreams may vary, dreams are still essential toward the development of the brain. Although some researchers believe dreams are just a byproduct of sleep, others think dreams are important for memory consolidation or conflict resolution.

When it comes to why we dream, there are many theories. Freud believed dreams were the gateway to understanding the unconscious mind — our hidden desires and underlying thoughts. His dream theory involved two parts: what was on the surface and what was beneath the surface. Carl Jung, on the other hand, saw dreams as a way of expressing things openly, and believed dreams to be the psyche’s way of communicating important information.

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”– C.S. Lewis

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”– Arthur Ashe

“Like success, failure is many things to many people. With positive mental attitude, failure is a learning experience, a rung on the ladder, and a plateau at which to get your thoughts in order to prepare to try again.”– W. Clement Stone

“There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.”– Douglas H. Everett

Remember life is full of beauty, notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child and the smiling faces. Smell the rain and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential and fight for your dreams. Everyone is a dreamer🌼

Dreams Can Help You Overcome Your Fears

Have you every daydream? Daydreaming is hard work and serves some very important functions. The capability to remember the past and imagine the future is a very complex form of thinking—as far as we can tell, we are the only species with this remarkable ability. The way in which you daydream and think is actually the effect of your brain’s physical structure, which, in turn, is constantly changing in response to new information in the form of new neural pathway. Believe it or not there are benefits of daydreaming.

You can exercise your brain (not your mind)

You can give different parts of your brain a break.

Why Do We Dream?

I’m starting a series on What is unconditional love. The other day I found these cards, which had quotes about love. Dan and I are shuffling the deck sort of speak and he is picking one card each day. During our spiritual time together, it is read. I will be sharing the quote to you each day until the cards are all used up. I’m going to make a little video each day and put on the daily blog. Tomorrow the topic is Unconditional Love.

LOVE IS PATIENT AND KIND, NEVER JEALOUS.

LOVE IS HUMBLE, NEVER RUDE OR SELFISH.

LOVE DELIGHTS IN TRUTH, NEVER TAKES PLEASURE IN OTHER PEOPLE’S PAIN.

LOVE IS ALWAYS READY TO EXCUSE, TRUST, HOPE AND ENDURE.

LOVE DOES NOT COME TO AN END

Until Tomorrow, remember every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.
