Hello Followers,


Tomorrow is Christmas!


And today is Christmas Eve.

WHEN WE BELIEVE, Christmas time has become very personal to me, for I was diagnosed with cancer the Christmas of 2010.

It’s those little things that matter!


I always know that if you believed in something so strong, it just might come true.


Like a fairytale my year started with this quest of faith and through it all the leap that I took ended with a dream that came true.


Some might say it was a miracle and others might say it was luck.


I say it was the leap of faith that there was another way to beat cancer other than just surgery, chemo and radiation.

I took the other turn in the road and tried another approach and learned that God gave us our bodies as a tool to succeed.


We need to listen to our inner soul and explore what we have been given.


Through the love of my family and husband and the education and knowledge of my doctors, I was able to succeed.


I am clean at this time of cancer by hard work and discipline.

By following guidelines of what God gave us, I learned to keep my immune system balanced and I educated myself with the help of my doctors that what we put into our bodies have a big part of what happens to us ~ It’s that very direction that makes or breaks you.


This holiday season my gift to all is to never give up and take that leap of faith and know that it can be done if you believe.

You only are you in body once so, let’s celebrate this year and explore what beauty we have been given.

As Dan and I prepare for the holidays, I ended the series of HOW SAFE IS MEXICO and shorten the blog post a little for the coming year.

CHAPTER 2; HAPPILY, PEACEFUL


TAKE BREAKS


Get into the habit of breaks, for getting out of home or office every couple of hours (at work you could take an indoor walk) to getting away at weekends.


Any break from a routine or a long session of activity will refresh you.


You may feel you don’t have time, or people might think less of you, or you just couldn’t relax properly.

Do it anyway!


You’ll return in your responsibilities in a stronger, more flexible frame of mind.

CHAPTER 11; MAKE ANGER YOUR ALLY


TO TURN ANGER INTO AN ALLY, PARTNER WITH IT.

Today on MANIPULATOR - the third of the five anger-management styles


As children, manipulators may have been unable to get their needs met by simply asking, so they learned to maneuver on the sly to get what they wanted.


AS

Perhaps they could get attention only by being sick, or get the toy they wanted only by striking a bargain.


And now in adulthood, rather than negotiating adult to adult, they use whatever device available; authority, money, power, dependency to get what they want.


AS

Manipulators don’t realize that as adults they are expected to talk to people as adults and interact with integrity.


Next week RAGER – the fourth of the five anger-management styles

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

It’s amazing what and how lemon balm can help keep your body healthy?


Lemon balm helps treat nausea.

Lemon balm is effective at providing relief from digestive inflammation in the GI tract.


It’s also beneficial for treating symptoms of nausea.


Drinking lemon balm tea or inhaling lemon balm aromatherapy oils may help to stop feelings of nausea.

A 2005 study assessing the efficacy of lemon balm tea found it useful in treating gastric distress symptoms.


If the affected individual can’t stomach liquids, breathing in the diffused vapor from a diffuser can stop nausea.


If you don’t have a diffuser, add a few drops of lemon balm oil to a bowl of hot, not boiling, water.


Using boiling water can damage the polyphenol antioxidants in the lemon balm essential oil.


Therefore, boil the water and let the kettle sit for three minutes before adding it to the oil.


This settling time should drop the temperature enough to keep the polyphenols intact.


However, it should still be sufficiently warm enough to produce steam for the diffusing process.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
