Give yourself a gift: the present moment.

Hello followers,

Since it is Sunday, today is a great day to reflect on gratitude.

Do You embrace the moment fully you are breathing in?

Think…

Right Now!

Focusing on the present moment can transform our perspective on life and rid us of our worries and depression.

Life is always happening right now.

There is never anything else.

Understanding this concept can have a profound and immediate effect on your life.

Nothing has happened in the past; it happened in the Now.

Nothing will ever happen in the future; it will happen in the Now.

The present is a gift!

So, today live in the now.

Check out some of our experiences on the page How Safe Is Mexico -

In capturing Mexico, I realized that all the warnings from the USA to go to Mexico was not true.

Mexico, just like the United States has different climates and as well crime in different places.

So, when they stated that Mexico was unsafe, that was not all true.

We live in a world that has good and evil; you just must know what areas are good.

Just like when we decided to move back to the states, Virginia; Roanoke area suited our needs and is right at the entrance of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The past three years, I have been posting areas that Dan and I have visited and thought how many of us know just what took place back during the Civil War.

Dan and I have decided to dedicate the rest of this year with our experiences and knowledge of the Civil War, through museums and to the countryside where many soldiers died to give us freedom in America.

Let us not ever forget what took place and why it happened in the first place.

And I welcome you to visit Mexico, the Guadalajara area, and Virginia if you have not yet done so.

Both places have so much history that date way, way back.

Continuing with a town near where Dan and I live, Salem.

On July 2, 1807, the first known mention of The Mermaid.

This was Salem’s earliest tavern that has been reported.

And on October 8, 1808, postmaster Lewis Cooper filed the first financial report of a Salem post office.

RECAP OF THE WEEK

Go for it now. The future is promised to no one. Do your best.

I would love to live like a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding.

There is a voice that does not use words. Listen!

The most precious resource we all have is time.

There is a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they are free. Do not miss so many of them.

I am allowed to feel good and to experience pleasure in life.

The moment of surrender is not when life is over, it is when it begins.

Continuing as in the previous posts; 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

BEFORE YOU GET OUT OF BED, take a moment to notice everything around you.

What do you hear?

What do you feel?

What do you see?

Scan your body and recognize any places that feel great.

Send gratitude to those places, if there are any areas that feel off, acknowledge them, and send them love.

Breathe in the abundant oxygen and smile.

Today is a new day and you are about to enter it with a new level of awareness.

May you be present and aware throughout the day.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.

This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Memorial Day, whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it.
