Interrupt anxiety with gratitude.

Hello Followers,

Before I start this post about Gratitude.

On this day thirty-seven years ago, our daughter came into this world.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIELLE.

Mommy and Daddy love you.

Both Dan and I are grateful for the milestones and achievements that we have shared and continue to.

GRATITUDE IS AN ANTIDOTE TO STRESS.

We experience gratitude when we shift our focus from what we do not have to what we do, and when we take time to appreciate and be thankful for those who have contributed to the abundance in our lives.

Think of your mind like your digestive system.

What you put in it impacts how you feel.

When you flood your mind with a constant flow of worry, envy, resentment, and self-criticism compounded by a barrage of news and other media it negatively impacts your mental wellbeing.

Gratitude practice is like a workout and a healthy eating plan for your mind.

When you find yourself stuck in a constant state of worry, or hyper focused on what is not working around you, try to pause for a second and ask yourself one or two of the following questions.

What have I learned recently that has helped me grow?

What opportunities do I currently have that I am grateful for?

What physical abilities do I have but take for granted?

What did I see today or over the last month that was beautiful?

Who at work am I happy to see each day and why?

Who is a person that I do not speak to often, but, if I lost them tomorrow, it would be devastating?

Take this as a cue to reach out today!

What am I better at today than I was a year ago?

What material object do I use every day that I am thankful for having?

What has someone done for me recently that I am grateful for?

What are the three things I am grateful for right now?

By taking time to write down our answers, we consciously redirect our attention to that which we are grateful for.

It is also a great way to look back and realize what we may have thought of as insignificant was the things that brought us joy.

So, we could all use some inspiration to make changes, though, which is where Dan and I welcome you to go to our YouTube site to enjoy and bring uplifting vibes to your day.

These uplifting videos hold a significant place in our lives.

They offer a glimpse into the wisdom of our experiences.

Research shows that an “attitude of gratitude” can measurably improve your overall well-being.

Finding little ways to express your appreciation and be more thankful can.

Continuing as in the previous posts; 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

December 15th

GRATITUDE IS AN ANTIDOTE TO STRESS.

When you are feeling overwhelmed, it is easy to allow fear to take over.

Stressful thoughts can lead to anxiety, and at times keep us from moving forward.

By simply stopping for a moment to interrupt these thought patterns with gratitude, you can alleviate stress.

Sometimes all we need is to stop and redirect our thoughts.

The more you can find moments of gratitude, the easier it is for your mind to release fearful, anxious, and stressful thoughts.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.

Take a moment to focus on the things in your life that you are grateful for.

It is easy to get caught up in the stress and challenges of daily life, but by choosing to feel grateful we can shift our perspective and appreciate the good things around us.

Maybe it is the support of loved ones, the beauty of nature, or even just a warm cup of coffee in the morning.

Whatever it may be, take some time to reflect on it and let yourself feel grateful!

This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words walk, meditation, and Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Saturday, gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions.

The more you express gratitude for what you have,

the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIELLE
