Prayer the World Greatest Wireless Connection

Hello,


Its Sunday and our 41st day of staying at home.



Yesterday we received several packages, our Misfits (vegetables and fruits), our order from Kroger came, and some pots and soil. Never the less, I was busy all day; cleaning the fruits and vegetables just like I did when I was in Mexico. The only difference is that Dan and I hooked up our Kangen Water unit and we use that water for all my cooking and cleaning of our food.




We talk about saving time as if we can pack it into a box for a rainy day. But no matter what we do, the minutes and hours tick by, unchanged by our efforts to change their pace. So, instead, we try to change ourselves. We schedule every moment, and caffeinated ourselves in an attempt to get to work a bit earlier and keep working a few minutes later. Still, time slips through our fingers, and only God knows the day and the hour when the race against time will end for us.

Although we can’t truly save time, we can stop wasting it on unnecessary activities, concerns, and mistakes. In this sense, we can rescue the time allotted to us from destructive habits and spiritual ignorance. How do we do this?


Willpower and motivational tips can only take us so far. What we need most is prayer.



This morning as I rose from bed

and saw the sun above,

I softly said "Good Morning God,

bless everyone I love".

And right away I thought of you

and said a loving prayer

That He would bless you specially

and keep you free from care.

I thought of all the happiness

your day could hold in store;

And wished it all for you,

because no one deserves it more.

I felt so warm and good inside,

my heart was all aglow

I know God heard my prayer for you,

He hears them all you know.



So, since it is Sunday why not blog about prayer and the benefits. Prayer isn’t a ritual that depends on closing our eyes and putting on holy faces. We don’t have to kneel or sit. We can pray while walking, driving, or working. God responds to a two-word cry for help in the middle of a busy afternoon, just like he does to a focused prayer time after reading Scripture in the morning. Praying doesn’t have to be complicated. God delights in any simple words we offer Him.


Provides timely direction.


Prevents wrong decisions.


Eliminates worry and anxiety.


Produces peacefulness.


Invites God into our activity.


Produces confidence.


Eliminates fretting.


Sharpens discernment.


Gives us energy.


Prevents distractions.


Reminds us to act now.

Protects us from discouragement.


Opens doors of opportunity.


Helps us discern between busyness and fruitfulness.


Prayer Is The Key 🙏

Prayer should be the key of the day and the lock of the night. Have a peaceful day.


When I was going for treatment in Mexico, I met this beautiful woman, Ana. She also was going through treatment for breast cancer. When she came over to my room, it was like I had known her all my life. We got along like two peas in a pod. She handed me a piece of paper with this prayer handwritten for me:


Dear God,

I’m here to ask You to please intervene in my healing process of body, soul, and mind in order for this process to be complete and successful.


I recognize that You are very busy with wars, tragedies, other conflicts bigger than just a woman with cancer. But I’m sure that the health of the planet is affected by the health of every individual on it. I know that as long as one person is contaminated with this disease and keeps receiving the poison of chemo therapies, and radiation, the whole world is contaminated by it. Similarly, if one or more people can be free of cancer, receiving an adequate integral treatment and letting other people know, this will certainly increase the general health of the whole world, in the same way that a few healthy cells in a body can increase the general health of that body.


This is my most humble request, then, that You help me end this disease and eliminate all the cancerous cells in my body. In this way, I can have the opportunity to be entirely healed and be healthy to contribute a little to alleviate the health of this world. I will be healthy like You created me. I will definitely be able, with more strength, to help others, heal with your might and support under your name.

Understanding the Healing Power of Prayers


A failing heart, a weak body, tormenting pain, and terminal disease--crippled by these situations, people turn to different sources of healing. The healing power of prayers have been put to test different times. While science and religion often have a different take on this, there are studies and medical research that support claims that prayers, indeed, have a healing effect on patients. Even doctors attest to this, as they have seen patients recover from such a terrible illness without medical explanation or specific treatment. Others say that this is a form of miracle, but for many who believe in the healing power of prayers, this is a simple case of faith, believing in the higher power to heal the body, soul, and mind at once.



How prayers work


There are different approaches to prayers. Others call upon arch angels, hold prayer group sessions, or simply reflect, meditate, and converse with God in their own way. It is said that healing is stirred when intentions are clear and sincere and faith is evident whether one is praying for other people or one's self.


Prayers can help a person cope with medical illness, depression, addiction, emotional pain, despair, and pain. Through prayers, people seek help from a higher being who's greater than our own fears, pain, and helplessness. And with these, we free our mind and body of anxiety and fear. By allowing the mind and body to relax, it helps bring positive energy and create some balance in our system, which helps the patient respond to treatment better. With renewed hope, patients tend to be more optimistic and such a behavior gravely affects their condition and will to survive. Some say that this is simply a placebo effect, in which symptoms are alleviated not because of an effective treatment, but simply because the patient believes that it will. Whatever the case, those who believe in the healing powers of prayer gain more strength, become more hopeful, at ease, and feels some of sort of vibrant energy flowing through their bodies, prompting their will to survive.



Benefits of praying


Through prayer, the mind becomes more alert, focused, and enlightened.


Emotionally, one lets positive thoughts and energy to erase any doubt or negative thoughts about the treatment, thereby helping the body respond better to any form of medication or method of healing. Spiritually, one becomes more prepared for the outcome, more inspired, and feels more nurtured through the loving acts of his or her friends through prayers. Prayers do not only heal the mind, soul, and body, but can also help reinforce relationships during the most trying times.


The healing power of prayers can be best combined with any medical treatment or forms of alternative medicine.
