REFUSE TO LET ANYTHING STEAL YOUR JOY.

RECAPPING THE SERIES ON BELIEVING AND SERIES OF HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO KEEP OUR BODY CELLS HAPPY of April 9th to 15th

Hello Followers,

Joy can be yours to have in life, but you have to protect it. There are always going to be people and situations in life that will try to bring you down.

If you need a moment to feel down, that’s okay. Take that moment, but don’t dwell in it. Time can be so limited in life; you deserve to have as much joy in that time as you can.

REFUSE TO LET ANYTHING STEAL YOUR JOY.

Choose to be well in every way. choose to be happy no matter what. Decide that each day will be good just because you’re alive.

You have power over your thoughts and feelings. Don’t let your circumstances dictate how you feel. Don’t let your thoughts and feelings color your situation blue or desperate. Even if you don’t have everything you want. Even if you’re in pain or in need, you can choose to be joyful no matter what you’re experiencing. You are more than your body, your physical presence, and your material possessions. You are spirit. You have your mind, heart and soul; there is always something to be thankful for.

Decide that life is good and you are special. Decide to enjoy today. Decide that you will live life to the fullest now, no matter what. Trust that you will change what needs changing, but also decide that you’re not going to stop enjoying life just because you don’t have everything you want now.

Steadfastly refuse to let anything steal your joy. Choose to be happy and you will be!

A mother holds her child's hand for just a short time, but holds their hearts forever.

WHAT YOU FEED YOUR MIND DETERMINES YOUR APPETITE.

The trees are whispering to me, reminding me of my roots, and my reach.

So many wants to be lifted by song and dancing, and this morning it is easy to understand.

So, with love and light, my heart to your heart, let the journey begin.

YOUR DREAMS MAY BE CLOSER THAN YOU THINK.

DON’T EVER STOP DREAMING YOUR DREAM.

Have you been keeping your body cells happy! Each type of cell in the human body is specially equipped for its role. Cells of the digestive system, for instance, are vastly different in structure and function from cells of the skeletal system. Cells of the body depend on each other to keep the body functioning as a unit. There are hundreds of types of cells, but the following are the 11 most common.

This week I have already gone over nine of the most common cells; stem cells, bones cells, blood cells, muscle cells, fat cells, skin cells, nerve cells, endothelial cells and sex cells. Today I will post on the tenth most common cell, which is pancreatic cells.

The pancreas functions as both an exocrine and endocrine organ, meaning that it discharges hormones both through ducts and directly into other organs. Pancreatic cells are important for regulating blood glucose concentration levels as well as for the digestion of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.

BE PURPOSEFUL

Decide how you are going to spend your alone time in advance. If you want to go for a long walk, schedule it in. if you want to use your time to come up with some new creative ideas, sit down and make sure you do that. If your plan is to crawl under your duvet and watch a film, don’t waste your time on YouTube. Spend your time with purpose and make sure it achieves the outcome you need.

As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of BELIEVING, entry 11-2-12; STROLLING ALONG ON THE BEACH -LAST DAYS IN MEXICO

On our last day in Mexico, since Dan’s treatments are finished, we decided to go to the beach here to explore the waves and the seagulls.

We were able to meet up with our new friends, Vera and her husband. We spent the whole day while enjoying each other's company. It's strange how one's journey intertwines with others and how they are there when you need them, she was the one that I needed at the time when I looked for guidance through my treatments. I call her my earth angel.

On the morning of the meeting with Dr. Perez to go over Dan’s home program, Dan and I went for stroll along the pier at Rosarito Beach. I understand from the locals in that location that they have seen well-known American movie stars. It was simply breathtaking.

On to the facility for one last time before we cross the border. We took a taxi. Once we got to our destination, we were off to the doctor’s office, and of course exactly like the States, you have to wait. The doctor explained Dan’s home program to him. The reason we chose this treatment is that Dr. Perez designs a home program for your conditions. The program was designed not only to take care of his prostate cancer, but also his heart issues. This was modeled just for him… I'll post in later days…this is where Dan’s journey will begin and the healing process of his body.

First, breakfast and off to the border. We left the medical facility at 1:30 p.m. and ended waiting at the border for two hours. Finally, we made it to the USA around 4:00 p.m. It's always a trip when crossing--you never know what to expect. This time it went smoothly! We ended up taking the Greyhound bus to take us to a friend’s place in Long Beach and enjoying a couple of days with them…a little R&R period. Until next time.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Today its HOLY BASIL TEA, this loose-leaf aromatic tea is a nice afternoon pick me up or a great way to start the morning.

Rooibos is an herbal tea that originally hails from Africa, its vanilla notes blend well with the more aromatic qualities of holy basil and the tang of the hibiscus.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon chopped fresh holy basil or 2 tablespoons dried holy basil

2 teaspoons rooibos tea leaves

1 teaspoon dried hibiscus

Honey to taste

Instructions

1. Bring 1 ¼ cups water to a boil.

2. Place the herbs in a tea mug or large infuser.

3. Avoid cramming the herbs into a small tea infuser, its better for them to have room to expand and move around.

4. Pour the just boiled water over the herbs.

5. Let steep and cover for 5 minutes.

6. Strain and add honey for taste.
