The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.

THIS WEEK DAN AND I WILL BE BLOGGING ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB – CACAO. ALSO 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.

Hello followers,

Countdown to SPRING, 10 more days.

To tell a whole story takes all its parts.

But to tell it in pieces, just the beginning and some of the middle; we don't need to know the end.

We can tell what we know as life unfolds and trust for a happy ending.

Why?

Stories have always been, and will always be, the way we understand ourselves and each other.

They tell us who we are, separately as individuals and collectively as people.

They point out our differences, but at the same time, they show us how we're all alike, what we have in common and how very much we need each other.

Good, bad or horrid, our stories can tell it all, including things that make us more human.

Or they can be edited a bit, as my sisters often do, to cast us in a slightly kinder light.

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

As a blog today on 101 ways to happiness, this is the last page.

I hope you found it knowledgeable, as it did Dan and I!

Continuing from last year!

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

CHAPTER 5; HAPPILY, BUSY

PLAN FOR RETIREMENT.

Retired people enjoy an above-average portion of happiness as free time liberates body and mind.

However, loss of the purpose and companionship often found, even unconsciously; at work can come as a shock.

You may need to adjust to a new dynamic with your partner.

Before leaving employment, explore ways to continue living purposefully and sociably.

Volunteering or freelancing can help fill the gap.

THE END-

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today starting on CHAPTER 14; HOW MANY TIMES DO I SAY “SORRY”?

A sincere apology frees you from cowering as you accept responsibility for your own act, learn from it and put it behind you.

The past no longer sits beside you on the judgement bench.

Apologizing, like forgiveness; is an inside job that not only offers release to the one who has been harmed.

But frees the one who apologizes.

An apology clears the air unless it is done insincerely in an effort to shift blame or relieve guilt.

An apology that is made simply to manipulate others can damage and destroy.

AN APOLOGY FREES THE PERSON WHO OFFERS IT.

Continue tomorrow-

Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Today blogging on the herb; CACAO and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how cacao can help keep your body healthy?

Recipe time!

HOT CHOCOLATE

Yesterday was a beautifully gloomy day, and while looking out the window raindrops pitter-pattering on our roof.

It’s exactly the kind of day that begs for the comfort of a rich hot-chocolate.

This recipe isn’t going to taste like a sugary, light chocolate of your youth.

Instead, this is a dark, frothy and delicious blend for your grown-up taste.

Ingredients:

¼ cup 100% cacao powder (16 grams)

1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

2 tablespoons butter (or coconut oil)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon honey

Instructions:

1. Put 2 cups of water in a medium saucepan and turn the heat to high.

2. When the water is hot (not boiling), whisk in the cacao powder and cinnamon.

3. When fully mixed, remove from the heat.

4. Then add the butter, vanilla extract and honey.

5. Stir to combine until the butter and honey have melted.

6. Pour the liquid into a blender.

7. Put the lid on loosely so steam can escape and blend on high for 30 seconds.

8. Pour into cups and enjoy immediately.

As Dan and I begin a new year, this is our PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

THOUGHT AND ACTION CAN BE PERCEIVED AS TWO DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS OF WHO YOU ARE; THE MENTAL YOU AND THE PHYSICAL YOU.

EACH OTHER

Until Saturday, study while others are sleeping; work while others are loafing;

prepare while others are playing; and dream while others are wishing.
