The first principle of success is desire, knowing what you want. Desire is the planting of your seed

THIS WEEK STARTING ON A NEW SERIES, DESIRE WITHIN AND FINISHING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello followers,

Countdown to some cooler weather, Autumn arrives in 24 days.

Its Tuesday!

Do you have any new desires?

Desire and destiny are almost the same word.

Desire derives from the Latin desiderare, too long or wish for which itself derives from de sidere; from the stars.

Suggesting that the original sense is to await what the stars will bring.

According to the Hindu Rig Veda (second millennium BCE), the universe began, not with light as in the Judeo-Christian tradition.

But with desire, the primal seed and germ of Spirit,

Desires constantly arise from within us, only to be replaced by yet more desires.

Without this continuous stream of desiring, there would no longer be any reason to do anything.

Life would grind to a halt, as it does for people who lose the ability to desire.

An acute (short-term) crisis of desire corresponds to boredom, and a chronic crisis to depression.

It is desire that moves us and gives our life direction and meaning.

Perhaps not meaning in the cosmic sense, but meaning in the more restricted narrative sense.

If you are at all reading our post, this is because, for whatever reason or reasons, you have formed a desire to continue reading, and this desire motivates you to continue it.

Motivation, like emotion; derives from the Latin movere, to move.

AUGUST – 30th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about August that’s so significant during this month?

NATIONAL GRIEF AWARENESS DAY | AUGUST 30

Grief awareness day recognizes the time it takes to heal from loss doesn’t have a prescribed course and is a reminder closure comes in many forms.

When a loved one dies, the void they leave affects everyone differently.

Throughout the day, take stock of those in your life who have been affected by a form of loss.

The death of a loved one, a close friend or enduring an extreme change in their lifestyle can trigger grief.

When we lose the stability of shelter, a job or a routine we have known for years, we suffer a type of loss that requires closure.

Some adjust to these changes easily, and others take time to become familiar with new routines.

Offer to listen to a friend or ask them to join you for a coffee or tea.

Send a message letting them know they are never far from your mind.

Then, set a date for another visit.

If you find you are suffering from grief, know that it’s natural.

You’re not alone, and it’s okay to ask for help if you feel your grief is overwhelming.

HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL GRIEF AWARENESS DAY

Look for signs of grief in yourself and your loved ones.

Self-care is vital after and during a loss.

There’s no shame in seeking assistance with grief if the pain becomes overwhelming.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

YOUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS NOT ONLY INFLUENCE YOUR MOOD, BUT THE MOODS OF ALL YOU CROSS PATHS WITH. THINKING LOVINGLY. DO LOVINGLY. BE A MESSENGER FOR LOVE.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 19; DANCING WITH PORCUPINES (last chapter of the book)

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE-

LIFELINES

Ø When we are freed from bondage in a difficult relationship, we, like the angels; fly because nothing holds us down.

Ø It’s not the noise you make; it’s the love and encouragement you give that make your life matter.

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY

SIGHT COLOR IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT-

Color Assessment (10-minute exercise)

Take a walk around your living space and note down all the colors you have used to decorate it.

Compare those colors to the chart:

PRIMARY SHADES MUTED SHADES EFFECTS

Red pinks warming, stimulating, dynamic, power (pink is calming)

Orange salmon, apricot warming, cheering, positive. Outgoing

Yellow lemon, gold opening, brightening, expansive, clarifying

Green lime, olive soothing, calming, refreshing, restful

Blue pale blue, turquoise gentle, cooling, soothing, peaceful

Indigo dark blues relaxing, calming, deep, restoring

Violet lilac, purple cooling, mentally expensive, restful

Black grays enveloping, slow, contracting

White brilliant, cold, expansive

Especially to the notes about effects on mood.

Think about how you feel in your space and how you would like to feel.

Is your sleeping space decorated in a restful way?

How is your kitchen?

Your sitting room?

Relating to colors in terms of how they make you feel may be new to you.

Notice the balance of colors in your space and think about any particular lifestyle you may have.

For example, if your bedroom is bright red and you are having trouble sleeping, it may be time to change the color scheme to more soothing shades.

Tomorrow, EYE-CARE EXERCISE –

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

PLANTING OF YOUR 🌱SEED

The first principle of success is desire, knowing what you want. Desire is the planting of your seed. #firstprinciple#principle#success#desire#knowingwhatyouwant#planting#seed#desirewithin

Until Wednesday, the stronger the desire; the greater the motivation.

The stronger the motivation, the greater the achievement,
